Good morning,



The odds are strongly favouring more downside, but you know as well as I do that the markets dont move down in a straight line. That is one reason why I give key levels every day. The strategy today will to biased short below 1118 in the SP500, and maximum short below 1112.



Stocks like EBay got hammered yesterday and we are short those glamour names. There was a big cycle turn last night but it remains to be seen if it will generate higher prices today. We closed at the lows last night and there is little buying interest in Europe this morning. Below yesterdays low should lead to the first square root target of 1095 off the highs.



The model for the year is supported by the 20-year cycle which points to a low into 26th July. From then on a strong rally will develop.



If any of you follow the TRIN signal we are in the territory which is usually associated with previous lows.



I got today as moving higher off the open, but only momentarily. From then onwards the market points lower the rest of the day. The odds remain high for further downside and a test of the 1100 area in the September SP500 futures.

i reckon 10250-10260 tops and then down to atleast 10130 ish lets see what happens -this is my view yours may be different

Zarif- thanks for the charts and views. spot on on the upper limits, and scalping was all I could do to-day. have a good weekend .MM

MM: Funny sort of day -same as you kept scalping the dow. Had a small short on the EuroDoll which came good and than reversed it which also came good. The cable shorted it a few times and was alright then i took a long and it was just stuck in a 6-10pt range for a while than at 8.35-8.52pm was tuck at aroung 1.8588 and than at 8.59 went like a rocket to about 1.8610 ish giving me a total of 50pts for this one. So a good weekend is in order.

Just i time for the Ym open.
Reckon its going to make a move up or down? All will be revealed but me i am still shorting the mini rallies that it has. I reckon will have aturn at about 3.30pm. So going to watch at first

I have got a small long on tm on the dow and most probably there will be a trek northbound around 7.15-7.30pm. lets see what happens.

Intel will decide it after the bell, Zarif.

What's putting me off shorting the NDX at the moment, is that
there's a gap open lower to fill from the 06 July in the 1480/1470
area.

Not sure whether to go for the long to close the gap and then short
at 1480 or wait to see which way Intel swings the Naz after hours.

The ones I use on other chart sites don't seem to work on MoneyAm,
they must use their own symbol.

Melnibone another brainwave - On the Dow header if you click the DOWJONES@LIVECHARTS it has a lot of info and charts in the graph if you left click it will will give you an array of charts and u can add studies etc and type of graph eg pnd bar cndl etc etc

managed a long on the dow currently +72pts and locking in profits.

closed the long earlier at 72pts profit. Now seems to be hanging about after closing the gap and will see what happens after the Europe closes. I have taken out a short atm.

What do you guys/gals reckon the dow will do? My idea is that it will trail down between 6pm-8.15 time frame in a slow zigzag.Thats my opinion yours may be different.It takes two views to make a market.

MM: I think it will zigzag down till about 8.15pm then track nortwards ar the end. Thats my opinion so watch and see what happens. The short which i took out earlier is 50pts positive atm.
so lets see what happens now.

Can anybody advise me why the Dow moved so much up after dropping first thing this afternoon
