I thought in view of the turbulance in the markets a nice bit of comfort food was required today.......so.....we have.......

Roast chicken, stuffing, roast tatties & roast parnips, carrots, gravy and broccali and if you have room for anything else afterwards we have peaches poached in brandy and cream.

Yes please!, all on the same plate to save time.

Oh dear, all this noise has spoiled my attempt to break Rip Van Winkle's record. I was so comfortable in the hammock too. Right, let's get rid of this Guinness queue for a start. I was trained to pour a Guinness as a youf so it will be no problem for me.

Now I'll have some of that lunch please Bunny. The sweet sounds nice but don't bother to poach the peaches, just pour on liberal amounts of brandy and cream, please.

I never have understood why people like fruit with sand in it?

LOL possibly because those of us who like them don't detect sand in them ;>)
