Like you I hope this is true. After soooo many false dawns, and misleading news releases, I have very little trust in the company management. If this release does not manifest itself in the next results, questions will again be asked.
This must be their last chance, to prove they have started to turn things around.

We will remember the section, 'bioplastics business has continued to achieve high levels of growth through the last two years'.

This is a much better Rns from this company.....a bit of a surprise....turning the corner ?....I still need to be convinced but this is a very positive update !.

Quite right rf, looking as if there is life in the lod dog yet. Lets hope they learned a lesson from past experience with wal-mart and keep things in perspective. If I see the 2.5p i need to break even, shall be a very happy bloke, who knows if they start looking like a proper company i might even buy some more...;))

Biome Bioplastics creates new high temperature bioplastic 'BiomeHT'



Biome Bioplastics Limited (the recently re-branded bioplastics division) is pleased to announce the launch of an exciting development in the field of bioplastics. BiomeHT is a new class of high temperature bioplastic that provides significant benefits over existing alternatives within the market.



This new product offers the ability for bioplastics to be used in higher temperature applications as a result of its superior temperature performance and greater rigidity. This breakthrough in the bioplastics sector opens the market to a multitude of applications that have not been able to benefit from the environmental properties of bioplastics in the past. With a softening point of greater than 90OC, in both dry and wet conditions, Biome HT exceeds the performance of existing bioplastic products by 20-30OC.



The BiomeHT range has been tested in injection mouldings and sheet/thermoforming applications with excellent results, offering wide and varied opportunities for use in many sectors and products, whilst also retaining the environmental credentials associated with Biome Bioplastics. RF Applications division signs 0.5m order for Fibre Optics systems



Stanelco is pleased to announce its RF Applications division has signed an order for over 0.5m to supply its innovative induction furnace systems and associated equipment to a leading overseas customer. This follows the 0.75m order announced in December 2009 and underpins the continued growth of the division.



The order will be delivered over the next seven months and is further evidence of both the strength of the fibre optic cable market and Stanelco's industry leading capability in this area.



The RF Applications division reported annual sales for the year ended 31 December 2008 of 1.1m; which contributed to total Group sales of 14.8m. For the six months ended 30 June 2009, the Group reported 29% growth in sales in RF Applications as the business broadened into new market areas.



Neil Martin, General Manager of the RF Applications Division commented:



"We are delighted that our efforts in providing applications in relevant product areas for our customers is paying dividends, particularly with customers in overseas markets; and these contracts provide good revenue visibility for the division."

On the surface this new high temp BioPlastic looks excellent, but so did the news years ago re tray moulding and Asda, and we all know what happened there.
So like required field, I 'need to be convinced', so although very dubious because of many false dawns, I wont knock it either.
One thing I am certain about, I won't be rushing to buy any more shares. Too risky.

Never thought of that use. Trouble is it might biodegrade whilst you are just about to use it.
But on a serious note....In the past whenever such innovations come into the market, the possible uses often are multiplied many times over. Lets just hope the product gets the market effect that previous Stanelco innovations never got.
As someone else pointed out, the main problem with SEO has never been the product, (although they never have appeared to turn out as good as promised) it has always been promotion of sales.

Agreed, it is getting an initial market.

Massive rise in seo today, if it carries on like this I will be able to retire in 274 years 5 months and 26 days, give or take a century.

Usually I make fairly sensible comments on this thread but have to say that I am now a pensioner who still gets more risers than SEO, and guess who stays up longer.

If there was anything worthwhile posting re SEO I would do honest.
