This time next year everyone will want a piece of SEO..........

..........or the directors! :o)

cynic - 26 May 2010 16:50 - 27022 of 27111

next year in marienbad rings a bell too ... or was it to jerusalem to visit the wailing wall?

maggiebt4 - 26 May 2010 16:58 - 27023 of 27111

Only consolation with this share is the fat lady hasn't sung yet! and where there's life there's hope.

halifax - 26 May 2010 17:00 - 27024 of 27111

maggie sorry you haven't heard the fat lady died waiting!

kimoldfield - 26 May 2010 17:01 - 27025 of 27111

That's 'cos she can't get past the fat director standing in the doorway!

kimoldfield - 26 May 2010 17:01 - 27026 of 27111

Oh, I'll have to change that to couldn't, as she is now dead! ;o)

maggiebt4 - 26 May 2010 17:35 - 27027 of 27111

No guys! the fat lady was replaced by a thin biodegradable one who's just waiting for the fat director to walk out the door so that she can slip in and sing.

kimoldfield - 27 May 2010 02:12 - 27028 of 27111

Will she sing the Paul Simon song "Slip slidin' away"?

Balerboy - 27 May 2010 07:54 - 27029 of 27111

looks like .0010p coming soon, hope you all fill your boots..... great oppertunity...

cynic - 27 May 2010 07:58 - 27030 of 27111

better with cement

Balerboy - 27 May 2010 08:02 - 27031 of 27111

think your right..

blanche - 27 May 2010 08:16 - 27032 of 27111

Defo staying in bottom draw now. Probally til 2020. O well can`t win em all.

maggiebt4 - 27 May 2010 08:46 - 27033 of 27111

By the time these make good - if ever- I'll have forgotten I put them in the drawer, providedI live that long of course!

greekman - 27 May 2010 09:47 - 27034 of 27111

So another 2 billion plus shares will be in issue.
Getting worse that the UK debt figures.
Surely the SEO management are having a laugh.

I for one won't be giving them any more of my money. I may as well give a bit away to a charity where is will do more good than putting it in the pockets of SEO management (should read mis-management), or even sticking a pin in the next race card at York.

required field - 28 May 2010 09:07 - 27035 of 27111

Another fund raising.....you have to be kidding....

greekman - 28 May 2010 09:20 - 27036 of 27111

Only .01p between Bid and Offer and at that the spread works out at a tad over 7%. The spread can't narrow without splitting to 3 decimal places, so yet another reason to say as 'Required Field' states, "you have to be kidding".

Knock knock,
Whose there.
SEO salesman answers the door.
No one.

SEO's current sp is now too depressing to even laugh at.

Balerboy - 01 Jun 2010 23:35 - 27037 of 27111

surely theres another side to consider... if everyone thinks the same as above and they don't take up the issue at what amounts to a very small cost...well in my case anyway, SEO don't get enough funds to carry on and we all lose our dosh when they go bust, or take up the rights and keep them afloat with a VERY slim chance of recovering some of our capital...in the next life time admitedly, just a thought...anyone.

halifax - 02 Jun 2010 01:08 - 27038 of 27111

bb don't you realise you have already lost your dosh!

greekman - 02 Jun 2010 07:19 - 27039 of 27111

My thoughts are, we may be better off if they don't raise the 'dosh' as then the only avenue open to them is a sale. Don't have much idea how much the company would fetch, but someone with half a business brain could surely turn whats left of the company around, after all they could hardly do worse. Also I would think the intellectual rights that are owned by SEO are worth at least as much as their market cap.
The bottom line must be, just how much lower can the sp and therefore the resultant value of the company go.
Lately whenever I watch the Simpsons, I just can't help thinking of the SEO management.
Homer could do at least as well as the present CEO.

As Halifax says, we have already lost our dosh. The Seo ship hit the iceberg long ago, it just insists of not fully sinking.

hangon - 02 Jun 2010 11:57 - 27040 of 27111

1) The SEO-ship landed on an iceberg, we are just waiting for the iceberg to melt. Until it does, the ship just stays put, with the Captains (one for each sail, I hear) shouting loudly in each direction, but being well-rewarded for going nowhere....Grr.
Sack the lot of them. The new one (5yrs ago?) wasn't the breath of fresh air - just more of the same, a distant nephew as it were.

This new fundraising- - - -
2)Well, as long as they can continue to provide shareholders with large blocks of paper (this offer, or whatever), I shall not need to buy so much fuel for my stove.
Whenever you strain potatoes, keep the liquor which needs to be evaporated, leaving the starch glue.
Put free newspapers, etc. and the Stanelco Offer through the shreader and place in a large drum (an old washing m/c will do) give it a spin with the liquor, spread it out to dry and then roll-up into logs (you can buy log-winders to do this). For the winter, you have some logs using more-or-less the same technology that Stanelco shouted about (trays for supermarkets-remember..?) yet failed miserably - DYOR.

So, shareholders, it's not all bad....is it?
