ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

Questor in the Daily Telegraph today got some interesting views on ASOS. Hope for Tomasz sake he will get a Transylvanian transcript of it

cynic - 13 Mar 2015 14:33 - 5702 of 5941

it's a very marmite stock, though i'm definitely of the questor and similar view, but the market still thinks otherwise

tomasz

or well we will repeated again as is doing it again
this morning when the share price was higher than yesterday's close, he stayed away, now that is under, already bragging telling lies and nonesence again.

he is losing thousands with PFC and is talking about my latest OPHR buy last week were the shares are a bit down due to oil price has gone lower this week.
he is happy on posters losing money it seems, a propper Barsteward ( now confirmed )

--------------------------
it seems you are not alone on the way of thinking about "manuel" (fool playing )

below my last post on him at OPHR.........

jimmy b

you are wasting your time talking to the MAM's......... fool, liar, stalker, grasser, back stabber (goldfinger ) imbecile (Tomasz ) and any name you want to call him
Lying all the time, I cought him several times ( maybe covering his arse, well fu..... by now ) he will say I bought, I sold when a share price has move up or down on his favour, so well after it happens

yesterday at ASC....posting all the time and suddenly.............i shorted at 39...., it takes plenty of time to go from 3900 to 3700

cynic 12 Mar 2015 15:32 - 5692 of 5695

and still ticking gently south to barely 37
but yes it's still a very good rise and delighted that i shorted at 39 ...... but not the point; it's just good to give tomasz a poke with a sharp stick :-)

jimmy b - 13 Mar 2015 15:54 - 5704 of 5941

Take my name out of it mentor , what i think i'll keep to myself in future , i think i'm almost done with posting on BB's here .
MAM used to be a good source of info (people swapping ideas) and looking out for ways of making a few quid ,now seems to be a lot of gloating of peoples misfortune .

robinhood - 13 Mar 2015 16:35 - 5705 of 5941

jimmy b do not take it seriously- it is just banter and little jibes if someone becomes obsessed with certain holdings

The Duchess of Cambridge sent online shoppers into a frenzy after being spotted in an Asos dress.

Kate chose the black polka dot number, teamed with a black clutch bag and matching suede heels, for her visit to Brookhill Children's Centre in south-east London.

Within 30 minutes of her stepping out of the car in the wrap dress, it had sold out in all sizes on the retailer's website, being snapped up by people keen on recreating her look.

However, Asos says the frock is due be back in stock next week.

Costing £35, it is described as a maternity "wrap skater dress in spot print" with three quarter length sleeves.

The duchess was visiting the Home Start-supported centre that helps parents struggling with issues including mental illness, bereavement and disability.

cynic - 30 Mar 2015 09:50 - 5708 of 5941

ASOS pre-tax profits fall

StockMarketWire.com

Online fashion group ASOS posts pre-tax profits of £18.0m for the six months to the end of February - down from £20.1m last time - despite a record Christmas season.

Retail sales rose 14% to £536.4m with UK retail sales up 27% and International retail sales up 5%. And ASOS says it had 9.3 million active customers at 28 February, up 13% on prior year. But retail gross margin was down 270bps at 46.8%.

Chief executive Nick Robertson said: "Trading for the six months ended 28 February 2015 included a record Christmas season, with total sales increasing by +14%. UK growth remained strong with sales up +27% and International sales up +5% (+10% on a constant currency basis). Our customer engagement remains high, with growth in visits, average order frequency, average basket size and conversion all improving. Our active customers grew by 13%, exceeding the 9m mark for the first time.

"The successful launch of our zonal pricing capability and planned investment in our international prices resulted in a gross margin decrease of 230bps during the period, which together with increased investment in building our global distribution capacity, has reduced half year profit before tax by 10% to £18.0m.

"With our continued investment in our international price competitiveness gaining traction, momentum in the business is building. This gives us confidenc

Claret Dragon - 09 Apr 2015 11:00 - 5720 of 5941

I have watched this stock when it was brought to my attention firstly at a London Seminar. Price was around £4.00

Was suggested then that is was a decent short by a guest speaker.

Not traded this either way. Before or since

However enjoyed the Love/Hate relationship that appears to go hand in hand with it.
