Dana Petroleum (DNX)

m0neyb0b - 26 Nov 2004 07:30

Just cannot understand recent SP volatility!

As a Dana shareholder I find it difficult to
find any reason to sell, even at current price. The Company has recently
entered a number of agreements which will have
considerable benefits:-

1. Reserves from 31st December 2003 of 123.7 mmboe
must now be in the region of 200.0 mmboe.( 100 million
North Sea 70 million Mauritana 30 million Russia ).

2. Production will rise to 25-27 thousand boepd in
2005 from 18 thousand in 2004.

3. At 30th June 2004 a Net cash position which will
have been enhanced significantly year to date.

4. Exciting exploration potential.

5. Management that seem to know what they are doing
with an excellent chief executive.

6. Recent deals by other oil companies have seen oil
assets bought at prices between 7-11 dollars a barrel
( see last weeks Investors Chronicle ) Dana must have
a value well in excess of the current 300 million.

I am holding firm and looking towards 800 pence.

Any other views out there?

goldfinger - 06 Jan 2009 14:49 - 589 of 659

Intraday chart shows a pull back from high so far of day so ive gone in and added. Oil SP continues to rise and broker Goldman Sachs (much respected) as a target price of 15.28 so thats rather assuring.....

goldfinger - 06 Jan 2009 15:20 - 590 of 659

Fairly recent article on dana, posted earlier, certainly worth refreshing ones mind...

Started off negative and now doing a U turn.

Looks like we could end up very positive here.

goldfinger - 07 Jan 2009 11:27 - 592 of 659

dealerdear - 08 Jan 2009 11:22 - 594 of 659

Glad about that. As you know, it doesn't matter what the sp should be, if market conditions are crap then down it will go.

goldfinger - 08 Jan 2009 12:37 - 595 of 659

Falcothou - 22 Jan 2009 12:56 - 596 of 659

Have tried going long at 900 as looks like it is at the bottom of the downchannel though stop below 850 as market currently deranged!

dealerdear - 22 Jan 2009 13:13 - 597 of 659
