Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Look, I am so sorry about this, really I am, but I will have to be serious for a moment.
I don't know about you rag-tag bunch, but I have some ridiculously small holdings in co.s I used to have lots in (miscalculations in closing long positions, or the SP plummeted so much they are worthless in my amounts). Is there a charity that would accept a transfer of these, and would it be economically viable to do so? I don't sell them cos after the spread and broker fees it would be a pointless transaction, but maybe a charity has a broker or suchlike that would perform the deals on a charitable basis. (Did I just use the words charitable and broker in the same sentence?)
If not, then has anyone any ideas for a charity and/or broker that may be interested (or set up a retirement home for the members of this thread?).
There must be shedfulls of small holdings out there that people cannot be bothered with. It works for the loose coins you bring home from your hols!

Welcome to Ian as an official nutter on this board, nice to see he reads the quality postings as well as crap like the SEO thread!
Thanks for that Ian. Will have a look.

Funnily enough wilbs, since the collapse of the communist regimes and the otherthrow of Saddam, there seems to be very little call for the instruments of torture that I so enjoy sharing with my friends at my Friday night fondou soirees, though I may have found a market for the hydrochloric acid based nipple cream I have been testing.

Hey Bos
Didn't know that you are a bowton lad, I'm a Bury lad myself.
Used to spend every friday in Bolton on the pull in my teens, including roller skating at Navada before it got burnt down
Bury is deffo the place to be nowadays though, has overtaken Bolton in the pussy stakes.
It.s like a fishmarket on Saturday night Lol
