THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

mike - is rosie any more offensive that gb? ...... confess i filtered gb because i really couldn't be bothered with his rantings, so perhaps they're just tiresome rather than racist or similar

Fred1new - 20 Dec 2016 15:56 - 75522 of 81564

What interests me is that some on this thread object to traits in others, which they manifest themselves.

The major traits being intolerance and superiority.

It is a strange world.

PS. I thought Rosie, Tinker and GB were the same individual.

You're the biggest Traitor here Freda .

Fred1new - 20 Dec 2016 16:08 - 75524 of 81564

Vicky,

Thank you for your opinion.

I would suggest you don't even recognise when you are betraying yourself.

cynic - 20 Dec 2016 16:16 - 75525 of 81564

rosie is MrT or Tanker

tinker i have never come across

gb is just a total pain, though not when filtered :-)

iturama - 20 Dec 2016 16:17 - 75526 of 81564

Some people need to man up. But moderate your language Tanker. Don't just write what you think. Beside your tips are invariably good.
I sold out of Centrica and Lloy at 230 and 64 respectively. Nice gains in a couple of weeks. I will buy in again on the dips. Hopefully there will be decent dips but the best gains have probably already been made. I don't mind leaving something on the table.

VICTIM - 20 Dec 2016 16:21 - 75527 of 81564

What utter claptrap Freda .

grannyboy - 20 Dec 2016 17:08 - 75528 of 81564

cynic says he has me on filter, but he seems to have me on his mind
constantly, I don't believe for one second he has me on filter, he might
lose most of the debates we have, but it also gives him the chance to
learn some true facts...;)

iturama - 21 Dec 2016 15:56 - 75530 of 81564

President Barack Obama used the "red phone" system set up to avert nuclear war to issue a stark warning to Vladimir Putin over Russian hacking of the US election.
What was the stark warning? Something akin to the red lines in Syria? No one takes that man seriously.
As for the hacking; were any lies told or voting booths infiltrated ? No. As the saying goes, if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear. What was exposed was how the DNC was rigging the primaries in favour of Crooked Hillary. I say exposing that scandal was good for democracy.

Haystack - 21 Dec 2016 18:58 - 75531 of 81564

Trump says he doesn't even want any celebrities at inauguration after none agree to go

iturama - 21 Dec 2016 20:10 - 75532 of 81564

Well a fat lot of good the so called celebrities did Obama and Crooked Hillary. He had the House and Senate when he went in and leaves having lost control of both and the GOP in control of two thirds of the State legislatures and Governors. She concentrated on appearing with "celebrities" and forgot the american working class. The only thing that matters to the voter is doing a good job, not the likes of Beyonce prancing around the President.

MaxK - 21 Dec 2016 20:14 - 75533 of 81564

You'll upset the snowflakes with stuff like that iturama :-)

jimmy b - 22 Dec 2016 08:12 - 75534 of 81564

Haystack , i don't want a President who needs Beyonce and J Zee at his inauguration thank you .

cynic - 22 Dec 2016 08:17 - 75535 of 81564

i'm sure he'ld be more than happy with just the presence of his hairdresser and ego-massager

jimmy b - 22 Dec 2016 08:30 - 75536 of 81564

Who cares about his hair , at least he likes Britain (which Obama clearly did not) and we will need the USA over the next few years while exiting the EU , can you imagine the support we would have had from Obama ,none !

VICTIM - 22 Dec 2016 08:33 - 75537 of 81564

Obama was a phoney .

Haystack - 22 Dec 2016 10:21 - 75538 of 81564

Rather have Obama any day.

jimmy b - 22 Dec 2016 10:38 - 75539 of 81564

Britain at the back of the queue Obama ,good riddance .

Haystack - 22 Dec 2016 10:43 - 75540 of 81564

Obama was supporting our government at the time attempting to remain. Comments like back of the queue only taken seriously by the gullible.

Trump not especially pro UK. He is pro Trump even before being pro US
