THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

They are trying to keep warm in times of austerity.

Perhaps, they are wishing to martyr Mother Theresa.

Just trying to manipulate unscrupulously.

VICTIM - 08 Jun 2017 15:13 - 77504 of 81564

Well if the exit poles are correct Theresa is a goner. Get the podium outside no 10 ready.

ExecLine - 08 Jun 2017 23:32 - 77506 of 81564

The fact, that the people prefer Diane Abbott to Theresa May, is sure to give Diane Abbott a rapid and miraculous recovery.

I am sure she will make a marvelous Home Secretary. :-)

'Struth! You can't make this up!

OMG!

So far the swing is not as large as the exit poll on the 3 seats won by the Labour party -

Labour held Newcastle Central with a smaller swing from the Tories, of 2%, than the exit poll suggested 7%

Well hung Parliament , will the knives be out , at least some good news Clegg and Salmond lose seats .

VICTIM - 09 Jun 2017 07:20 - 77509 of 81564

It's a major error when Labour were on it's knees .

Laurenrose - 09 Jun 2017 07:43 - 77510 of 81564

if you read it correct its the same result as brexit.

so should their now be another election till we get the right result

a hung parliament is terrible for the uk

Laurenrose - 09 Jun 2017 07:44 - 77511 of 81564

the people of London did not vote for labour they voted to stop the brexit

VICTIM - 09 Jun 2017 07:48 - 77512 of 81564

I agree they want to stop Brexit , but she gave them the chance .

Laurenrose - 09 Jun 2017 07:50 - 77513 of 81564

VICTIM - 09 Jun 2017 07:51 - 77514 of 81564

Labour wins big in student areas . BBC

Laurenrose - 09 Jun 2017 07:52 - 77515 of 81564

ever one in the uk will now suffer under a hung parliament .
their should now be another election in weeks .
if we have to run the country on a hung parliament it is pointless to vote I like a winner either way

Laurenrose - 09 Jun 2017 07:57 - 77516 of 81564

the result has told me one thing .
look after your own stop giving to any charity
give no one anything . I will now cancel all my gifts .

look after your own ,

be the same as the uni voters think of no one but your self

VICTIM - 09 Jun 2017 08:00 - 77517 of 81564

I wouldn't go for another election Cons would lose , she has to get wheeling and dealing .

Clocktower - 09 Jun 2017 08:01 - 77518 of 81564

Put it more down to Student Loans - Social Services -(old voters believe they are ENTITLED to higher pensions - free lifelong care - Unlimited spending on the NHS - and expect the young to pay for it) The shout goes up - we worked all our lives and we are ENTITLED and they really do not care that the young are over taxed to pay for the drain on the NHS and all Social Services.

Laurenrose - 09 Jun 2017 08:02 - 77519 of 81564

very happy to see clegg and salmond lose their seats made my day .

that is great news ,

Laurenrose - 09 Jun 2017 08:22 - 77520 of 81564

well MAY must now step down the uk is now a mess .
all down to her policies .

we have now a country with no government who can run the country

the way we vote for a gov must now change to have a winner the result is terrible news for the public it would be better for a winner either way lab/ con
but not a hung gov
