Not that I can find - in true 'Yank' style, the delete option doesn't appear on their holidays.
Not to worry - bloody annoying though.

I have installed Avast anti-virus on my Android mobile phone and seems to work a treat. One thing it is asking for is access to the root in order to activate the Firewall. My phone isn't rooted and am not keen to do so as I am not that eager to mess around with the phone operating system. Does anyone else run phone anti-virus and specifically a Firewall? I have looked at rooting my phone, but just for a Firewall it seems a lot of potentially hazardous tinkering.

Harry, I run the same Avast a/v, and I'm the same as you - I've not allowed it to root my phone. Not sure whether I'm protected as well as I should be but I'm living with it quite happily. One of the big features that it offers is anti theft protection, but again that requires rooting. I may get round to it some day. Not sure if this will have helped you!

Cheers for that SC. No one seems to worry too much about anti-virus & firewalls for mobile, yet are forking out big bucks for PC & Lap-top. Seeing as we are increasingly using mobile for internet banking, stock trading & other personal stuff via public access Wi-Fi & unsecured internet, maybe it will be more high profile and readily available soon.

I spoke to a friend recently who is a security expert and he told me not to bother with av on android.

I have a nephew who would like to explore FX trading (something I don't really do).
Can anyone recommend a demo account provider other than CMC or IG?

Davai might be your man on the FX thread to answer that.

Help Please.
Anyone can advice me how to stop being bombarded by about 5 e-mails every day from the same company (a none UK company).
I always block from their web sites but they always slightly alter their address so they continually get through.
They are already on my junk list, but I still have to check that list as I do so much research daily if I don't something might just be deleted in error.
I am on outlook!
Thanks in advance.
Greek.

I can't print them that is one of the many problems with it.,its a software problem I think not the machine.

aldwickk, there's loads of info available to download on this subject, but all depends on your operating system, so far too much to post here. It is all to do with spooling it seems.

Surely you can delete/cancel the existing print jobs by hitting Start > Printers & Faxes > (Double click your) Lexmark > Printer > Cancel all documents.
Sometimes, I've found the jobs don't disappear from view until after a restart.

Hi all. Using Win 7 and IE I can't log into Moneyam (I'm posting this via Mozilla). After inputting log-on details my PC spends a long time thinking about it and then come up with this: IE has stropped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify if a solution is available.
When I close that I get the following:
Internet Explorer has closed this webpage to help protect your computer
A malfunctioning or malicious add-on has caused Internet Explorer to close this webpage.
What you can do:
Go to your home page
Try to return to moneyam.com
More information More information
Clicking more information brings up the following:
Windows Data Execution Prevention detected an add-on trying to use system memory incorrectly. This can be caused by a malfunction or a malicious add-on.
Other things you can do:
Go online to learn about the Data Execution Prevention (DEP) security feature
Any thoughts please?

Yes and cleared the cache, BB. I discovered later yesterday that if I just left the logon it would eventually activate but after several minutes, or so it seemed. First logon today has whizzed through. Fingers crossed, etc.
