Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

cynic - 18 Jan 2019 08:55 - 11681 of 12628

unlike you, i have very high regard for several members of the royal family who imo do much sterling and hard work ..... which almost by the by, benefits the country greatly

Manuel,

Are you looking for a knighthood?

They seem like two a penny in tory party.

Mind Boris is probably angling for two.

One for night and one for day.

Cynic - you may grovel before Roylty but The Royal family are nothing but figureheads of the ruling elite and live off taxes and lands that should be in public ownership.

And you mention BJ private life - well look at the Dukes history let alone their siblings and attachments.

Very little concern for the other people in the car that ran into the Dukes Rover, which more likely than not pulled out onto a main road and got T-Boned. If it were other drivers they would have been breathalysed and more likely than not been charged with dangerous driving, or at the least without due care.

Rules for them and us!!! This is not 1900 rules should have changed over the past 100+ years.

Good to see Diane Abbott get such a huge kicking by the Question Time audience last night over Corby's stance on everything.

And Stan if it's up to her and Corby you got more chance of Burnley winning the World Cup than Labour backing a second referendum.

Biggest cheer I've ever heard on that program when it was suggested we just walk out the door on the 29th March with no deal.

Still not sure about Fiona Bruce but it's early days yet. First ten minutes was the same as last week , she kept interrupting when panel were trying to answer and loved the sound of her own voice. Someone needs to tell her it's not the Fiona Bruce show but she did get better as it went on.

10 weeks , 70 days to go Hils ... how's the pound in my pocket looking ?

Tic toc.

Dil - 18 Jan 2019 09:49 - 11686 of 12628

CT , he was breathalysed apparently. Both drivers were and they were clear.

Cerise Noire Girl - 18 Jan 2019 10:04 - 11687 of 12628

It's off a touch this morning, Dilbert.

You published your tic toc clock - what do you expect? I did try to warn you that's what happens. Cyprus may have to go on hold till after Brexit gets cancelled.

cynic - 18 Jan 2019 10:24 - 11688 of 12628

i do not ask others to agree with me, but i am amused that because i rate the work the senior royal family carry out, and that includes princess anne, i get unwarranted abuse

Dil - 18 Jan 2019 10:29 - 11689 of 12628

Welcome to my world :)

iturama - 18 Jan 2019 10:39 - 11690 of 12628

I'm sure you will get over it C. It used to be the case that no one was guilty until found so and a road accident? - how many occur every day? I bet there were a lot more involving 27 year olds than 97 year olds that day. :-)

cynic - 18 Jan 2019 11:17 - 11691 of 12628

it rarely upsets me and certainly not the abuse i get on here

Fred1new - 18 Jan 2019 11:50 - 11692 of 12628

Manuel,

I thought posters are too flattering to you.

But if you court the limelight, what do you expect.

cynic - 18 Jan 2019 11:53 - 11693 of 12628

i have low expectations except of myself

Fred1new - 18 Jan 2019 12:05 - 11694 of 12628

That is an obvious conclusion reading your posts.

Try restarting your medication.

8-)

She appears to play to the audience for popularity - assess which way they are leaning.

Cheers,

DUP say wipe your backside with the Times report re them and customs union.

EU continue to push veto reform re tax harmonisation.

cynic - 18 Jan 2019 12:20 - 11696 of 12628

greece, italy and others veto paying tax at all, so forget about harmonisation

Dil - 18 Jan 2019 13:06 - 11697 of 12628

Won't have to worry about them soon. They can do what they like then.

Cerise Noire Girl - 18 Jan 2019 13:16 - 11698 of 12628

Careful what you wish for, Dilbert. Le Monde are saying you're gonna run out of loo roll.

:o)

KidA - 18 Jan 2019 13:19 - 11699 of 12628

Who uses loo roll? Bottle of water does the job.

Dil - 18 Jan 2019 13:23 - 11700 of 12628
