Dil, A VG. strike indeed.. But when it comes to goal scoring you have competion, see link from 38.15 onwards http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01myf18/The_Football_League_Show_2012_2013_15_09_2012/

.. Charlie's his name and goal-scoring is his game -):

Should be a cracking match at Goodison tonight. Made the usual home support byest bets on Bet 365 yesterday. Scorecast Efc 3-0 @ 12/1, Jelavic 1st goalscorer @ 15/4 and home win 4/6. Step in RF Newcastle 9/2 you feeling lucky? :O)

Going for an away win for the Gunners in Montpellier (newcomers in the Champions league)....but Arsenal look to be in excellent form.....not sure about the above game....

Chris Carson - 17 Sep 2012 21:57 - 1285 of 6918

ROBBED!

Dil - 17 Sep 2012 23:02 - 1286 of 6918

Just make sure you stuff the gypo's Saturday.

Stan : that's what you would expect in a bottom of the table shoot out where both defences are non existent :)

Stan - 18 Sep 2012 06:44 - 1287 of 6918

Defense?.. What defense, we haven't played a decent defense since the early 70's.. and that was only for one season -):

Dil - 19 Sep 2012 00:07 - 1288 of 6918

Beat Millwall away for first time in almost 30 years ... we're on a roll.

Stan - 19 Sep 2012 00:25 - 1289 of 6918

Dream on, The only roll your likely to be on.. is a sausage roll sunshine

The Football League have fully approved a change of ownership at Leicester City.

Previously owned by Asia Football Investments (AFI), a company wholly owned by the Raksriaksorn family.

Now owned by King Power International (KPI), a company wholly owned by the Raksriaksorn family.

Just to remind you that this is Leicester and not Portsmouth.. raised eyebrows.

Stan - 20 Sep 2012 06:07 - 1291 of 6918

Talking of Leicester City, They very surprisingly scrapped home 2-1 against the promotion chasing Clarets last night.. How inappropriate -);

Chris Carson - 21 Sep 2012 21:37 - 1292 of 6918

Dil - Take it you will be an Evertonian for the day tomorrow, no easy games in the Premiership but you can be sure the 'Blues' (sorry mate, wasn't thinking) will be well up for it after being robbed on Monday night. Jelavic out for a fortnight, so moneys on Mirallas as first goalscorer, remember the name, reckon this guy is going to be a star this season.

Chris Carson - 21 Sep 2012 21:57 - 1293 of 6918

Fast forward to Anfield on Sunday, be like another soap opera 'Who shot JR'.
Certain elements of opposing supporters shouting we wont sing about Munich if you don't sing about Hillsborough. Will Suarez shake hands with Evra blah de blah, then of course they will kick the shit out of each other for 90 minutes. Couldn't make it up :O)

Dil - 23 Sep 2012 08:29 - 1294 of 6918

Nice win Chris shame about the Cardiff result ... manager went back to his useless 4-5-1 tactics after winning 3 in a row playing 4-4-2 !!!

Chris Carson - 23 Sep 2012 11:23 - 1295 of 6918

Aye, frustating being a fan at times Dil. Everton currently 2nd do I want Man U to beat Liverpool this aft? Hmmmm it's a toughie! :O)

Stan - 23 Sep 2012 11:23 - 1296 of 6918

Another 3 promotion pts.-): at Derby as usual (we never loose at Derby) for Burnley and a good day out to boot. Can the boy Austin keep it up, who knows? Playing at his old club Swindon on Tue.in the LC. so could be interesting.

As for the 4-5-1 against 5-3-2 argument, 1 up front only works if the 5 push up to support the 1 which doesn't happen at Burnley (even with Austin being the 1) and doesn't sound as though it does at Cardiff either. If the 5 are good and the tactics right then that might be a different matter.

We should keep an eye on Juventus.......good one to put a few punts on it seems and Marseille as well......

Stan - 23 Sep 2012 18:44 - 1298 of 6918

But your useless at betting on home teams, So won't looking abroad be even worst RF? -):

required field - 24 Sep 2012 09:26 - 1299 of 6918

No...Stan...the odds are better except for Barca where I find it impossible to put a bet on unless they don't score for 70 minutes or so and then you take a risk....so far this season I'm doing a little better than last....hope the trend continues...

Stan - 24 Sep 2012 09:53 - 1300 of 6918

Oh good RF, nice to see an improvement, I agree about the odds in this country where say the championship are concerned. Very poor individual odds unless you go for doubles or trebles.. thats why I rarely put a bet on these days.
