I did a bit of research on this and found a forum site, which discusses this Tiny/Time modem problem
HERE (see on Page 3)
Reading some of the postings on there, I found the following:-
"1. Go to the Conexant web site (see below), go to the Driver Support section, and download the driver file for an HSF modem (you'll see what I mean when you get there). Save the file to disc, then unzip it to a place you can find it later.
2. Right click the My Computer icon on your desktop, select Properties, select Hardware, click the Device Manager button.
3. Find the modem in the listing, right click the entry, and select uninstall. Confirm the action in the resulting box.
4. Reboot your PC.
5. On reboot, the PC finds the 'new' hardware, and asks if you want to instal it - say yes, and tell the Wizard where to find the drivers (where you unzipped them to earlier).
6. That's it. The modem now shows as a Generic, as opposed to saying it's a CNXT Vx PCI, or whatever, but it seems to work fine for me. I've already accessed two different ISP's now, with absolutely no issues."
You can download the driver from www.conexant.com .
"If you haven't got access to another machine with an internet connection, you can subscribe to Supanet's pay as you go service for the download and then never use them again. Once the driver is updated, you can add Internet Explorer to your Start Menu by going into Control Panel and clicking Add/Remove Programs. Select Add/Remove Windows Components and then put a tick against Internet Explorer."

"OK, there is now a fix for this.
The modem with new Time computers does indeed come locked to Supanet. (or Supanet Optimised, as they call it)
To disable this "lock" (simply) sign up to a Supanet "Classic" (Pay as you go) account.
Use the pre-loaded Supanet software to do this, then connect to the internet using that account.
Go to Supanet.net and log-in.
Under the "My Supanet" heading, you will find an option to "de-optimise modem".
Wait a few minutes, go back to the Supanet software on the computer, go to Options > Update Software.
When the updates come down, the modem is also unlocked.
Simple. But really shouldn't be on there in the first place."
