Hi zarif,
Watching the US as well.
I'm looking at 1140/10600 as critical support on
the S@P/DOW respectively.

Are you watching for different levels?

Melnibone.

zarif - 20 Feb 2004 16:33 - 1406 of 2279

Same level as you on the dow at 10600 if violated decisively than more downside to follow. Also working an a presumed range of say 420 for the dow for the week.
Mel -Just ann after thought have you tried point and figure chart say weekly and monthly for the dow (SnP etc) using only the closing prices and reversal of 3. it tends to give brilliant trends etc.

I'm running a P@F chart on the FTSE, not got round to doing
one for the S@P yet. May try and get one going this weekend.

Hi Guys

Just looking in again to see how you are doing.
Hope my business will be sold very soon so hope to rejoin you asap.

Anyone know what's happened to the free live Dow chart on Quote.com?
Is there another site I can get a live chart or do I have to put my hand in my pocket and pay for one.

Any help appreciated

Regards
Harlosh

snoball - 20 Feb 2004 18:29 - 1409 of 2279

Harlosh, I haven't been able to find another free one.
I am subscribing to Lycos/Quote.com for about $10 pm.
Here's the url:http://finance.lycos.com/

Greetings Zarif.

Melnibone - 20 Feb 2004 20:59 - 1413 of 2279

Saw that Zarif.
I was watching the S@P poke it's nose below 1140, suck in
a few Bears, and then bounce back up to the day's median.

I think Greenspan has been waffling about jobs and growth
again right at the critical point.
One could almost think that it was orchestrated. ;-)

Melnibone.

snoball - 21 Feb 2004 00:55 - 1414 of 2279

That's what they've been doing since March.

zarif - 23 Feb 2004 13:11 - 1415 of 2279

javidshaik - 23 Feb 2004 13:40 - 1417 of 2279

as far as i know he is talking 4 times this week starting at 2.15pm gmt today. snow is also talking sometime today.

ThePlayboy - 23 Feb 2004 13:46 - 1418 of 2279

cheers

Melnibone - 23 Feb 2004 15:57 - 1419 of 2279

Although Greenspan is speaking 4 times this week,
the main one that the market will be listening to
is the Wednesday one.

The big economic data, GDP, isn't until Friday.
So I'm basically expecting range trading for most
of the week, barring any 'Events'.

Melnibone.
