Good morning, good morning!!!
I've decided I need two screens and two pair of hands and eyes,
one lot to do the typing work I need to do and the other to
watch the market as there's a lot happening at once!!
It's just too much for a poor fuzzy bunny brain to deal with!!
;>)

Good morning Bunny, and all. Anyone notice that it took Socs 49 minutes to make Choccy her drinking chocolat last night? We do a lot better with the day service :-))

LOL Priscilla, as much as I hate to break the fairy tale
this bunny this morning is so hypo it would take a firmly
applied mallet on the head,to get me to stay still for any
length of time. What a day - why does everything happen at once?
Have you got any more of your drizzle cake from yesterday left?
I could eat a big piece right now!

I'm still here lurking, Bunny Girl, although I don't post as much. I'm in an exceptionally good mood as, in the last 10 minutes, the postie has just brought one of those letters which have been the subject of much press over the last few days and says that my daughter has won a place at a top Grammar school.
:o)))))))))))

Oh great news Hilary!!! Well done to her!!
And another one of those Mum worries out of the way for you,
at least now you know she's going where you obviously are
delighted to see her go, no mean feat these days trying to
secure a school you want!

Thankyou Bunny,
As you say, Secondary School transfer is a major concern for parents nowadays. I must admit that I had a bad night's sleep through anxiety last night. And on top of that, you've got Capita successfully managing to screw things up!!

Congratulations, Hilary (and daughter, obviously!) I was watching that story on the news thinking it sounded like some Mad Hatter's Lottery. I'm glad somebody won a decent prize!
Little Willie: on my way to get my hair cut this morning, I placed a small bit of encouragement on the Lambykins Light Fantastic; aka the 12.40 at Durbanville on Saturday. Please tell Sweet Revenge we have every confidence in a good result for her.
Grizzle, drizzle AGAIN here this morning. Jacket potato weather. Now what to put with it.....

Thanks P.,
I went through exactly the same thing with my son last year ..... as a parent you just feel so helpless. My daughter is at school and doesn't know herself yet. She was trying to pull a sickie this morning so that she could wait for the post.

Sometimes I wonder if it was better when it was simply a case of
either you passed an entrance exam or not and beyond that you went
to the school designated for your area of residence.
I remember when we moved here - we did so at short notice - and I was
going rapidly round the twist trying to get both my lads into schools
that were halfway decent. With the youngest one, when it came to secondary
he didn't initially get a place, I appealled and he want on the waiting
list, technically he didn't have a place anywhere for
the Sept. for a while, then after a couple of anxious months we
were told due to someone turning down a place, he had secured a place -
at the local nearest secondary which fortunately I wanted for him.
Total nightmare and I'm very glad I've 'been there and done that' now
and don't have any more kids to try and steer through it.
A bottle of bubbly for Hilary! :>)
