little willie - 04 Nov 2004 21:38 - 17789 of 23498

If its the gulf stream, do you get elvers on the spring tide?
Great fried in bacon fat and washed down with the black stuff... yum yum.
Certainly get them on the banks of the Severn around Socs area.

Socrates - 04 Nov 2004 21:39 - 17790 of 23498

I must confess, 22 years in "the mob" gave me a good grounding in the finer art of ironing and pressing uniforms. Yes. and even in the bulling of boots.

daves dazzlers - 04 Nov 2004 21:40 - 17791 of 23498

optomistic - 04 Nov 2004 21:48 - 17795 of 23498

Funny thing that gulf stream, do you think if it extended to Barnsley we would get those elvers in the canal, it would be much better than what is stored in it normally:-)

daves dazzlers - 04 Nov 2004 21:48 - 17796 of 23498

Anybody else had there fireworks tonight.

optomistic - 04 Nov 2004 21:49 - 17797 of 23498

Oh we get plenty of hassle around here DD.

optomistic - 04 Nov 2004 21:51 - 17798 of 23498

Very few fireworks this year, perhaps that new law is taking effect.

daves dazzlers - 04 Nov 2004 21:55 - 17799 of 23498
