During the 19th and 20th centuries, Freeman fox and partners and john taylor and sons built international reputations in the respective fields of highways and bridges and water and waste water collectively responsible for projects such as the Victoria Falls Bridge, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Humber and Severn bridges, the Shanghai Water supply and major water and sewerage works in Leningrad and Tehran. The two firms merged in 1987 to form Acer Consultants.
Acer Consultants was aquired by Welsh Water in 1993 and renamed Hyder Consulting in 1996.
When Welsh water Now named Hyder plc was taken over by Western power distribution the senior management of Hyder Consulting aquired the business in a management buy out in Jan 2001,
Recent projects include, Melbourne City Link,Emirates Twin Towers and the Cairo Waste water project.

I only know and have followed this since my wife ,a welshwoman bought welsh water at privatisation and subsequently did very well with take overs and buy outs, as you say a good sound company. SD

BREAKOUT CONFIRMED

Williams De Broe put out some forecasts dated 13th December per Hemscott:

-to 31/3/05 EPS 14.1p, divi 1p
-to 31/3/06 EPS 18.4p, divi 1.5p

Put a P/E of just 12 on that and you come up with a price of 220p. It puts the current price into perspective on a P/E of 8.9.....

added some more,about to breakout and if u look on their website they've won a substantial deal in China.
