LANDORE RESOURCES, Breath Taking Report On its Finds. (LND)

goldfinger - 14 May 2007 12:24

Is it possible that this tiny little company is sitting on all that resource?,this report /link would imply it is. Obviously very speculative at this stage but a market cap of circa 21 million but a potential find of $1.2 billion and possibly double that as leaks from the recent AGM hit the B/B community.

Ive had a speculative investment, sorry that should read bet in this company today. It takes some believing and being the sceptical/cagey devil that I am, im just trying ways of basicaly trying to put myself of this company.

If anyone is interested I suggest you do your own research and dont throw money away that you cant afford. Remember I believe its highly speculative

Heres the report....

Market cap 22 million potential resource find of between $1.2 billion and $3 billion and nones interested. Madness.

Big Al - 15 May 2007 22:16 - 3 of 59

Interested yes. Wondering if there's a little retracement yet. It might be just one of those ones that keep on going, but I'd have expected more comment here too.

goldfinger - 16 May 2007 01:54 - 4 of 59

Hate to say it but it could be a multi - bagger Big Al.

I hate that term but that report above well..................................?.

Big Al - 16 May 2007 02:36 - 5 of 59

It could be, goldfinger.

My problem with little miners is they always need more money and help to get it out the ground no matter how much it is worth once mined and processed. How many have you seen fail spectacularly? As you say, highly speculative!! ;-)

I considered buying a small tranche as a punt yesterday. Maybe today, we'll see. Of course, it needs the herd!! LOL

goldfinger - 16 May 2007 02:38 - 6 of 59

Spot on AL.

But its doing nicely at the moment and theres not that many of the crowd in yet.

janesteve - 16 May 2007 07:51 - 7 of 59

from the times today.....Landore Resources was one of the speculative plays, rising 3p to 21p on expectations of a drilling update within the next fortnight. The Canadian group has more than doubled in value in a month since James Packer, the heir of Kerry Packer, took a stake. But any hope of a takeover looks premature, analysts said, with Landore likely to take about a year to show its route to production.

soul traders - 16 May 2007 09:03 - 8 of 59

Steaming away today: LND Bid: 23.25p Offer: 24p Change: 3.25

Remembering the recent performance of TMC, it's possible that this could continue to rise quite significantly in the near term, in spite of alreaady having double within a few weeks. Okay, TMC is actually producing, but the climate seems favourable to such mining stocks.

IMO/PDYOR

goldfinger - 16 May 2007 10:38 - 9 of 59

Yep it is going some ST. Like I said earlier if that above report is anywhere near accurate we could have a multi bagger on our hands.

Thanks janesteve for that report.

goldfinger - 16 May 2007 13:05 - 10 of 59

for those who havn't already done some simple fag packet calcs

Taking 'guestimated' Inferred resource of $3000M in the ground or about 1400M... 122M shares approx... would give 11.50/share. We know they obtained 20% plus in ground value for their last resource sold (Esquel) as Brancote Holdings....

2 plus 'possible'...yes please

GF, I was working on the basis of a minimum 10% valuation of VW, which I calculated would be 35 mil (taking nickel at $48,000 and including the copper at $6,000, in total worth approx $700 mil), or 28.7p per share (just to "prove" to myself that there must be some upside!).

Add Junior Lake/B4-7's lower estimate of 9,000t Ni and 6,000t Cu and you can add $468 mil, of which an NPV of 10% gives you another 23 mil, or 18.8p/share, for a total of 47.5p per share.

Which is twice the current SP. Goldinger's 2 quid would be nice, though (what's the chance of it reaching this within my T+25 margin trade? Or, to put it another way, should I just place an order for a Porsche Cayman?) A man can dream. Just some decent profits would be nice :o)

Please feel free to quibble my sums. I shall have a gander at the Proactive Investors report (thanks GF for posting!), which I am sure will make interesting reading.

soul traders - 16 May 2007 16:26 - 12 of 59

Re-reading the report and the RNS relating to West Graham, I'm pleased to see that there is enough interest there to warrant further drilling. Originally, I was uder the impression that "lower grade mineralisation" implied that the site wasn't viable. 0.51% Ni doesn't sound like much, but is still okay, especially if cost savings implied for Junior lake are also available at W. Graham.

goldfinger - 16 May 2007 18:49 - 13 of 59

Ill take 47.5p ST any day but if you read that report you could be well undervaluing this one.

goldfinger - 16 May 2007 22:53 - 14 of 59

Think there could be big rises to come tomorrow.

Big Al - 17 May 2007 05:39 - 15 of 59

My limit order was not filled yesterday whilst I was sleeping. Ne'er mind.

Set the thing a little low! ;-)))

soul traders - 17 May 2007 09:06 - 16 of 59

Sorry, GF - looks like profit-taking is on the breakfast menu at Landore: LND Bid: 21.5p Offer: 22.5p Change: -0.75

So, Big Al, looks like you've got a chance to get in more cheaply :o)

soul traders - 17 May 2007 09:12 - 17 of 59

GF, re "undervaluing", experience shows that these miners take a long time to reflect the NPV of their projects in their share price. Billions of dollars' worth of resources (or reserves, which are the better of the two) do not immediately translate into billions of pounds of market capital, as you're well aware. Hence my cautious approach to valuation.

Again, TMC is valued at just below 100 mil, and it is already producing, whilst having three very large resources. LND is still proving up its resources and so may take a while to reach that kind of valuation.

IMO/WDIK, etc. But I hope there's a bit more steam left in the recent run-up, given that miners have been so popular.

goldfinger - 17 May 2007 10:03 - 18 of 59

Yep Id agree with you on your opening point ST.

Still think theres a lot more in this short term.

Was bound to have a profit taking day after the strong run its just had.

Added again on the pull back.

soul traders - 17 May 2007 13:37 - 19 of 59

Congratulations on your timing, GF. I certainly hope there is more in the short term. Having stuck my neck out and bought a large chunk of this at pretty much the high point yesterday, I am doing my best to keep a cool head.

Are we not expecting drilling results in a couple of weeks?

soul traders - 17 May 2007 15:31 - 20 of 59

Goldfinger, apologies for O/T, but take a look at GOC. SP: 117p, estimated EPS for 2007 - 2008: 23p. Loads of very useful info in the RNS's and on thread.

Big Al - 18 May 2007 01:57 - 21 of 59

st - you were right. Checked this evening and order was filled. ;-)) Not a large position, but may depending on how things go.

goldfinger - 18 May 2007 11:27 - 22 of 59

Consolidating at the moment.

I expect more activity possibly as early as monday on a drilling report.

soul traders - 18 May 2007 11:55 - 23 of 59

Al, glad you're in - and hopefully at a price with which you are comfortable.

GF, I would be very happy indeed if we see some good news on Monday.

goldfinger - 18 May 2007 14:47 - 24 of 59

Very comfortable with this one ST.

There was bound to be profit takers coming up to the weekend.

soul traders - 18 May 2007 15:04 - 25 of 59

Good stuff, GF. BTW did you get a chance to check out GOC? Excellent prospects, IMO.

soul traders - 22 May 2007 14:12 - 26 of 59

Ticking up today (finally!): LND Bid: 19p Offer: 20p Change: 0.5, 108K or so traded.

goldfinger - 22 May 2007 23:01 - 27 of 59

Yep a return to form.

Should be more to come.

goldfinger - 23 May 2007 11:56 - 28 of 59

Blue again.

Should be a drilling report out soon.

soul traders - 23 May 2007 12:52 - 29 of 59

Pretty low volume, but let's hope the rise continues.

TMC is really doing the biz at the mo.

goldfinger - 24 May 2007 12:01 - 30 of 59

TMC as really done well ST.

Im still confident on this one.

Big Al - 31 May 2007 09:38 - 31 of 59

Doubled up this morning.

goldfinger - 31 May 2007 12:46 - 32 of 59

Yep its starting to look promising again.

goldfinger - 31 May 2007 16:11 - 33 of 59

Hey up,

whats going on here?.

soul traders - 31 May 2007 17:09 - 34 of 59

Dunno, but I like it! LND Bid: 19.5p Offer: 20.5p Change: 2.5

Big sigh of relief.

Just over one mil traded, too, which is healthy volume. More on the way tomorrow?

Big Al - 31 May 2007 17:47 - 35 of 59

Nice double up. ABC retracement and off she went on, as st says, very healthy volume.

;-))

Big Al - 01 Jun 2007 11:11 - 36 of 59

Cashed in the double up. Decent overnight profit. Thought there'd be stronger follow-through.

soul traders - 01 Jun 2007 11:17 - 37 of 59

It's following through in the wrong direction ;o)

LND Bid: 18.75p Offer: 19.5p Change: -0.75

a bit of Friday P/T, maybe?

Landore Resources says nickel mineralisation extended at VW Nickel Zone project
AFX

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Landore Resources Limited reported that drilling at its VW Zone nickel project has extended its existing nickel sulphide mineralisation and continues to intersect wide nickel sulphide zones.

The mineral exploration and development company said the programme is extending the zone downwards, with one drill hole reporting a 6 metre interval at 1.13 pct nickel and another reporting a 12 metre interval at 1.02 pct.

In an update on drilling at the VW Zone on the the Junior Lake property in Ontario, Canada, the company added that the drilling is intersecting multiple zones of resource grade nickel mineralisation.

One drill hole intersected zones totaling 51 metres at an average nickel grade of 0.38 pct across the 150 metre-wide VW Zone corridor.

The company is carrying out a 60-hole campaign, with one rig being used to extend the resource area along its length and depth, while the second is being used for infill drilling which will allow the resource to be classified as 'indicated', which is a requirement for pre-feasibility studies.

This ought to be good news, but I have a feeling people are dumping LND to get into TMC, which is up 20% today.

soul traders - 05 Jun 2007 11:21 - 40 of 59

Stopped sliding: LND Bid: 19p Offer: 20p Change: 0, was down 0.5p earlier, having also been as high as 21.5 first thing.

According to the report, the resource grade attributable to the current round of drilling at VW is up from 0.34 to 0.38%. so with continued infill and expansion drilling the resource estimate should be on track for being increased.

goldfinger - 26 Jun 2007 11:45 - 41 of 59

Looking positive, long may it continue.

Big Al - 26 Jun 2007 12:41 - 42 of 59

I considered grabbing a few more yesterday but didn't. Looking at the way it's shaping up I may regret it. Still got a few though

goldfinger - 27 Jun 2007 00:09 - 43 of 59

Next few weeks could be very important.

goldfinger - 11 Jul 2007 09:15 - 44 of 59

Good news out this morning...

Landore says VW zone project in Junior Lake still showing good grades of nickel
AFX

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Landore Resources Ltd said drilling on the VW zone project on the Junior Lake property in Ontario, Canada continues to intersect multiple zones of resource grade nickel mineralisation, with grades in excess of 1 pct nickel.

The VW zone nickel project is located at Ketchikan Lake towards the south-eastern end of the Junior Lake property.

Landore said that during June and July it staked and recorded 17 new claims to the east and south-east of the Junior Lake property, covering the eastern strike extension of the structurally deformed geology hosting the VW zone.

The new claims were staked as a direct result of the positive advancement of the VW zone nickel deposit and the good potential for the discovery of additional base and precious metal mineralisation, it added.

A variety of mineralised showings hosting nickel, gold, molybdenum, copper-zinc-lead and asbestos are covered by the new claims.

Good news this morning....

Landore says Junior Lake drilling indicates strengthening nickel grades
AFX

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Landore Resources Ltd said assay results from the westernmost section of the VW zone on its Junior Lake Nickel project in Ontario, Canada have indicated strengthening nickel grades, with the drill hole 0407-122 reporting a 1.24 pct grade.

The company said additional drilling is planned, to continue testing the westerly strike extension of the VW zone along fences at 50 metre step-outs as part of the current drill programme.

The VW zone nickel project is located at Ketchikan Lake towards the south-eastern end of the Junior Lake property.
