Ovoca Resources PLC ( Ovg.i Dublin : Ovg.l London ) and Aurum Mineral Resources
Ltd. are pleased to announce the signing of a Joint Venture Agreement on Ovoca's
Newcastle West zinc prospect on 11th June 2004, subject to the consent of the
Minister for Communications, the Marine and Natural Resources. Aurum have
agreed to spend up to Euro100,000 throughout the Newcastle West prospecting
licences on exploration programmes to earn a 25% interest.
The Newcastle West Block is located within a highly prospective base-metal play
to the west of the Pallas Green Volcanics and associated intrusives in
north-west County Limerick, Ireland. An intersection of "massive sulphide" has
been reported within the licences, made during drilling by a private company,
however no other details on the drill hole are currently within the public
domain.
During May 2004 Tara Mines Ltd, a subsidiary of Boliden AB., completed a
detailed gravity survey over part of Ovoca's Newcastle West licences. Results of
this survey, which was carried out over both Ovoca's and Tara's adjacent licence
areas, will be available to Ovoca for interpretation and are expected shortly.
Ovoca and Aurum look forward to reporting results from exploration programmes
currently underway on this prospect and which will be ongoing throughout 2004.
Ovoca's gold exploration in Sweden is making good progress with two teams on the
ground working on Ovoca's claims. Ovoca has sent samples away for testing from
our Klippen claim on the "Gold Line" in Sweden where some encouraging
mineralised zones have been encountered from a Trenching and Bedrock Drilling
programme that has been ongoing since May. Results are expected by late June.

8para continues to post across the road.
OVG in many opinions will be the share of 2006, very closely followed by Elan.
Have advised my father to put this in his champion investor portfolio as well as his real one, and I'm sure he shall be the winner this month with these companies.
2006 shall be the year of the Irish in my view, there are quite a few beauties on my watchlist for next year, and OVG is certainly one of them

excellent RNS news, you only need to do a simple set of figures to see that this is now set at a P/E of 1, the newspaper coverage tomorrow should add around 50% to the current share price, and further news over the coming days, weeks will see this as a two or 3 bagger very soon.
ALL IMHO

certainly getting picked up by a few tipsters recently and getting on more people's radars as the company are out doing presentations, and have also passed a motion to buy back 10% of the share capital, also drilling finishes at the end of the month, so results from that expected soon.
