TDM has new clothes! (ENRT)

hangon - 24 Aug 2007 15:37

Reborn! - that's recyled of course and made of a rather brown plastic plucked from bins.
This is(-was-) 3DM Worldwide[TDM]plc management thinking exposed = "the longer the Name the more folks will buy into their products."
-When will companies learn that a long name is is nuisance - whenever it is printed it gets to look ugly and over-indulgent ( not that "....Worldwide" wasn't over-egging IMHO)...
When at exhibnitions it means the text has to be quite small, so it doesn't run off the stand - so it is difficult to read etc etc.
Also any name that describes your business had better be right - for it focusses customers - far better to call it "3DM" ( ie drop "Worldwide") - and let folks work out what it means. It would also make the business look as though it was proud of the past and their literature would still remain valid.......but I would charge good money for that advice if I meant it.

In financial terms they've had more money injected, diluting investors from about 1.50 to somewhere near 3p - so an exceptionally poor investment, as gradually punters discover real recycling is done in China and nothing to do with 3DM, or Inert. oops wash my mouth. The next year will be make or break I suspect.

Any different views?

All looking good now New Licence Agreement coming in.America is big just think how many flat sheet you can sell.

New Licence Agreement

Environmental Recycling Technologies grant licence
StockMarketWire.com
Environmental Recycling Technologies (ERT), which has developed and is exploiting the patented rights to the Powder Impression Moulding ("PIM") process capable of converting mixed waste plastics into commercially viable products, has granted a non-exclusive licence to NBF Plastics.

The licence allows for the manufacture and sale of flat sheet within the United States of America, Canada and Mexico Under the terms of the licence NBF Plastics will pay ERT a licence fee of $100,000 in addition to annual royalties based on sales of products made using the PIM process.

NBF Plastics is an affiliated company of North Brook Farms, a diversified manufacturing company with product offerings in the agricultural, equine, commercial/industrial and consumer markets. Its products range from an animal comfort "cow mattress" and horse arena footing to alternative building materials, heavily centered on a recycled materials philosophy. North Brook's main operations are located in Auburn, NY in the Finger Lakes region.

Roger Baynham, ERT's Managing Director, said: "We are particularly excited to have signed our first flat sheet PIM licence in North America with NBF Plastics. We are confident the NBF management team's experience, innovation and entrepreneurialism will hugely assist in the commercialisation of our PIM technology in North America and we look forward to working with them going forward".

America is a graveyard for UK companies. (and this technology originated in US _ Detroit I recall someone said. DYOR)

+ How many sheets do you think you'll sell against the US Co that already owns the name Ecosheet (or sim - DYOR) and has been trading for maybe 20 years with infrastructure and local knowledge of where to get raw material? - - and ENRT needs US customers who are prepared to pay (guessing 25%) over the price of ply?

+I see[ RNS ], new Exec is given 4million options just above(then) current sp . . . that will please LT holders who have seen sp drift down due to dilution and a flimsy business model . . . a few years ago we were all prepared to pay a little more for Eco-badged stuff . . . but now I think it's a different story.... and tight money means industry won't spend on new prospects that aren't skonking winners . . . When did any shareholder see a Divi?
SP drifting down after new CEO is settled in.
I rest.
EDIT(2013) - More Dilution - I reading Oxford Capital now owns 28% after a debt-for-equity deal . . . and they swapped at face-value 2.5p/share-[DYOR]- must say Execs at ENRT sure know how to talk . . . . Pity is they don't know how to make money. . . . this is still trading below face-value . . .Oh deary.
EDIT (6Feb13):- I see they've defended their patents[RNS, DYOR]. . . well they do have(?) more capital to pour into them,; anyone know who were they up against . . it looks like the Patent Office itself, surely not?
+Mention also of Euro Patent . . .dunno.
How they remain in buiness is one of life's mysteries . . . . IMHO. but then, I know nothing. (sp 1p75)
EDIT (Sept2013) -sp 0.75 as it continues to fall down. Director Buying (reasonable but not excessive) shows poor grasp of their prospects, but then maybe their Xve-pay is buying , so why care?
EDIT ( April2015)-sp 0.33 - Oooer! Dir Buys are in tatters....perhaps a little more Work and less Talk?
EDIT (31DEc2015)- refreshed RNS (DYOR) suggests the Dir £200k loan is fully drawn by the company and carries 2% interest per month ( Prev. RNS said only 2% - about 4x what you get in a Bank )...2%x12 = 24% pa - can that be right for a co that he's in charge of....and presumably capable of making a better "go" of things. 2015 has seen sp from c,0.5p now 0.15p - it's really silly, but I guess he ( The Co) is really looking for "Big deals" rather than a small niche that would provide turnover+profits.
EDIT-(17May2016)-Am I reading the sp correctly....almost zero ( 0.05p ), or is there a dec point involved ? . . . . WOW ! Things really have gone wrong . . . Execs asleep still?
