Hunting Gibson: Oil Service . (HTG)

newinvestor - 17 Jul 2003 01:56

Current share price 116/119.Still time to consider hopping on board.Getting ready for next rise up imo.c&p below:-

Tipped by the excellent Hemscott subscription service.

Salient tip info follows;

Hunting (HTG) - Buy at 114p
Hunting issued an impressive set of interim results last month. The confirmed that earnings had recovered following an annus horriblis in which everything conspired against the group. Hunting's prospects appear to be improving. Having seen the price slip from a recent peak of 121.5p, we believe that at 111p the shares are now worth climbing aboard.

Bull points:

Highly operationally-geared business
The oil cycle is now picking up
Earnings recovering strongly
Low rating against the sector

Currently toying between this one and Wood Group.
Anyone got any thoughts on either (obviously no strings, wont
take it as advise, am currently doing own research etc etc)

Yes although it was higher and than yo-yo'ed backwards again,
couldn't actually see a reason why at the time! Bought in about
two months ago and happy it's a fair chance although it may need
to be held for a while.....but hopefully not years to put on some
real price weight!
