Optomistic - are you just sitting on this one?

I'm buying & sell short term as if you work your figures out, it is often possible to make a profit (3-5% some days) on the price swings of this share.

Is anyone else doing the same?

(I have a few I'm sitting on long term - but that does not stop me investing for the short term too!)

No option but to sit tight. Bought at over 1 and failed to take a reasonable gain-short term (greed) bought again at 45p brought average price to 70p. A reasonable gain above this could tempt me to take a profit depending on market sentiment. However I still remain 'optomistic' of the future prospects for Kcom even if a breakup does not occur.

I first bought @ 14.35! So I doubt I'll ever get that back, and because of the CGT last in first out rules, will not take the loss for a long time as I keep buying in & selling as it is so easy to make small quick profits without touching my first purchase - or for that matter quite a few since. (I think I keep them to remind me what was once possible!)

14.35 seems a planet away, I feel sure that we are not going to land there again! In the meantime I admire your courage in battling it out in your Kcom trades. I am most confident that patience will be rewarded in due course.

Better range today

kcom seems to have slipped into the shadows recently, as interims are due in 2 weeks, if you have time perhaps you could reintroduce the 2 day chart and pivot points that you previously posted. After all it is possible that a little more interest could develope in the company in the next few days.

The charts on top automatically update. But I'll try and remember to post the pivot points in the morning.

The share prices have been pretty static lately and so have the PP!

Kingston Communications Re-certified as VPN Security and Wireless LAN Partner by Cisco

Kingston Communications has been re-certified as a VPN Security and Wireless LAN specialisation partner by Cisco Systems, Inc.

The recertification recognises Kingston Communications for having personnel with advanced training, knowledge, field experience, and customer satisfaction to deploy VPN security and wireless LAN solutions.

To achieve the specialisation, Kingston Communications met or exceeded the personnel, experience, customer satisfaction and lab requirements outlined by Cisco. This included developing sophisticated lab and reference network resources and ensuring its employees were trained thoroughly in Cisco technology.

As part of the process, Kingston also demonstrated its ability to offer 24/7 support and undertook customer satisfaction surveys to demonstrate service excellence.

Richard Ashley, marketing director for Integration and Managed Services at Kingston, said its success as a Cisco partner could be attributed in part to the fact that - where possible - the company actually exceeds Ciscos requirements.

"An extremely high number of Cisco certified employees across all categories has enabled us to develop extensive technical expertise across Ciscos product range," he said.

Nick Edmond, service provider account manager at Cisco Systems, added: I would like to congratulate Kingston on achieving re-certification in VPN Security and Wireless LAN specialisations.

Hi Jules99 - it sure has been a while....Results are due out soon. Can't say anymore at the moment as I have to pop out and take one of the locals out shopping!
