if you go to www.hmrc.gov.uk/helpsheets/ir285.pdf and page down to page 5 of the helpsheet it explains how to apportion the initial cost between the two resultant holdings after the share issue. If youre still confused drop me an internal message

Looks good, though not used it. One worry I have is that your information appears to be loaded on their software which poses a risk, whereas using a program loaded on to your own PC means that confidentiality is assured. I know there is a Privacy statement, but..........
