Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

MightyMicro - 15 May 2006 00:55 - 10179 of 24230

Seems to be a problem with the ACME Fish and Trifle Dispensing Machine (Pats. Pending) - my trifle is still wriggling on the plate. Very strange.

Spaceman - 15 May 2006 01:00 - 10180 of 24230

MM, you must have had to much wine, either that or your wobbling the plate around.

jj50 - 15 May 2006 09:00 - 10181 of 24230

Morning all.

Grim market, so coffee brewing and kettle on for tea. Fresh orange juice, freshly delivered croissants and piles of danish for those seeking solice.

Socs, hope you are better :-)

Spaceman - 15 May 2006 10:35 - 10182 of 24230

Morning jj, danish please and a glass of orange juice.

Market not much fun at the moment, I am glad I am still not trading.

jj50 - 15 May 2006 11:04 - 10183 of 24230

Sorry for delay Spaceman, danish and oj coming up! Are you back from cloggyland yet with parrot in your suitcase? :-)

Sustaining food required for lunch - bangars and mash, Aberdeen Angus steak pie, Fish Fingers (for those in need!), fresh salmon with rocket salad and bacon butties for those in a hurry!

Spaceman - 15 May 2006 12:01 - 10190 of 24230

No socs today? hope he is feeling better.

JJ, I am trying to avoid another trip to cloggyland this week however I have failed to avoid going there for the last 3 weeks!

sorry I have to miss lunch here today as mrs spaceman has decreed that I have to resume my healthy eating plan, today so far its been a 5 fruit smoothy for breakfast and a 1100 snack consisting of 4 brazil nuts, 12 almonds, a small eggcup of sunflower seeds and a small handful of sultanas. Lunch will be sardines on toast.

Of course there was the virtual Danish and orange juice but they don't affect my diet ;-)

I have been watching the big oils today...

jj50 - 15 May 2006 12:47 - 10191 of 24230

DD - we prepare the food, just don't carry it across :-)

Spacey ... if desperate, try the Claudia Schiffer diet ... 6 raisins eaten very slowly!

Priscilla - 15 May 2006 13:29 - 10192 of 24230

I'm so sorry to hear Socco is sicko. Please get better soon, dear friend.

KEAYDIAN - 15 May 2006 14:38 - 10193 of 24230

Is the bar open?

Spaceman - 15 May 2006 15:22 - 10194 of 24230

Keaydian, fully open help yourself. Trifle and fish ddispencing machine is working if your a bit hungry.

KEAYDIAN - 15 May 2006 17:16 - 10195 of 24230

Thanks but I'll give the dispencing machine a miss.

I'll have a whisky, large one, and slide it down the bar western style.

Yee har.

KD.

Socrates - 15 May 2006 17:42 - 10196 of 24230

Hello all, a cream-crackered Socco crawls in on all fours. Managed to sustain himself for a day at work, well dosed up with a well known brand of soluble apirin. Really, it is not as bad as it sounds and I am grateful for all your good wishes, feel a bit of a fraud really.

Sounds like a few teething troubles with the ACME wonder machine, don't know how we are getting live fish out, they are all frozen when they go in. I tried the sherry trifle, all 78 flavours, no problem there (no, that's not why I'm unwell).

KEAYDIAN - 15 May 2006 17:51 - 10197 of 24230

Where's that whisky!

Spaceman - 15 May 2006 17:55 - 10198 of 24230

Socs, glad to hear your on the mend.

Keaydian, its help youself here but its all free.
