Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Socrates - 28 May 2006 11:19 - 10374 of 24230

Well done Snoball, I must get some grass to cut one day. Gravel doesn't need mowing very often.

Spaceman - 28 May 2006 11:55 - 10375 of 24230

Morning from a gray but not raining (yet) norwich, just spent 90 mins cutting the grass and I about 40% done the grass is very long and wet and I have to stop every 5 mins or so to clear the cutter!

A robin has been following me round the garden, I assume he is eating things uncovered by my cutting.

Socs be careful when you do get round to mowing that gravel.....

Socrates - 29 May 2006 00:19 - 10376 of 24230

Since it is Monday already, I suppose it is time for bed.

Socrates - 29 May 2006 09:49 - 10377 of 24230

Good morning all.

Spaceman - 29 May 2006 09:53 - 10378 of 24230

Morning, just about to start the long trek from Norwich to Hastings.

Mrs Spaceman has just informed me that on the way home we are to be treated to a visit to Ikea and 'if we have time' Bluewater as well.

Had I know this in advance I think I would have arranged an accident for myself so that I could spend a few hours waiting in the local casualty unit, it would be far more fun.

optomistic - 29 May 2006 18:26 - 10379 of 24230

Spacie, I trust you have enjoyed your day. A visit to Ikea and then Bluewater is far more than most of us could ever wish for in one day, not forgetting of course the little scenic trip.
You must be ever gratefull to Mrs Spaceman for making such plans for you.
Do call in the coffee bar for the late night party, you will really enjoy a good night out after such a relaxing day :-)

Spaceman - 29 May 2006 20:51 - 10380 of 24230

Hi Opti.
it turned out better that I could have hoped....

We got to Lakeside and it was chaos, the Ikea car park was packed, I had a little moan and suggested we shoud try again in a week or so (when hopefully I wont be able to make it), surprisingly she agreed. Result.

So of we go down the M25 to Bluewater, guess what? ...... I only 'fogot' the Bluewater turning... and next one and she didnt remember until we got to Sevenoaks.

optomistic - 29 May 2006 22:24 - 10381 of 24230

Superb day Spacie! Well done :-0)

optomistic - 30 May 2006 13:07 - 10382 of 24230

Obviously Spacies 'better' half has sussed him out...now laid up and slightly bruised ..... :-(
Tea anyone.

Socrates - 30 May 2006 16:41 - 10383 of 24230

That tea must be a bit stewed by now Opto, I'll ask Pru to make a fresh pot.

Not a very healthy day on the market today, sell in May and go away seems to be apt.

optomistic - 30 May 2006 16:45 - 10384 of 24230

Hi Socco, you're right tea stewed and a very bad day.

Spaceman - 31 May 2006 09:04 - 10385 of 24230

Morning, nice day in Hastings ....

stockbunny - 31 May 2006 12:01 - 10386 of 24230

Morning - just :>)
Ok cold buffet for lunch, a selection of cold meats, cheeses, salads and french bread with various dressings, sauces etc all washed down with a glass of your favourite of course :>)

jj50 - 31 May 2006 12:33 - 10387 of 24230

Mmmm... french bread and some cheese please, Bunny .. and because of the sunshine, I'll wash it down with a white wine spritzer. Lovely stuff.

Afternoon all :-)

Socrates - 31 May 2006 17:30 - 10388 of 24230

Hello all, just popped in to make sure all is well and Pru is looking after the place properly. All ship shape and Bristol fashion, goody.

I'm going to splash out and have some cheese on toast with a nice cup of tea.

Better day on the market today, even had a bit of blue in my list.

jj50 - 31 May 2006 22:43 - 10389 of 24230

Hopefully some more blue tomorrow, Socs!

I was wondering if Pru had a brother - could do with some help around here :-)

stockbunny - 01 Jun 2006 09:20 - 10390 of 24230

Morning people!
Not so good this morning it seems.....never mind it can only improve!
Tea, coffee and the usual munchies available as and when :>)

Socrates - 01 Jun 2006 16:46 - 10391 of 24230

Hello all, better day today. Overcast most of the day here in the Cotswolds, but are we downhearted? Of course not.

JJ
Pru has no brothers but has 6 sisters, not one under 14 stone, all built like the proverbial outhouse but lovely with it. They used to work at some outfit a bit like Kwik-fit but were made redundant when they installed a hydraulic jack.

stockbunny - 02 Jun 2006 09:56 - 10392 of 24230

LOL Socs ;>)
Tea's up if anyone is awake!

optomistic - 02 Jun 2006 10:00 - 10393 of 24230

I'm awake, large pot please :-)
