Orange juice, tea, croissants, apricot jam and I'll start to feel post-shopping human again, what is it about the end of the week, people shop in droves and indecision is rife along with idiots who can't operate a self-service till - ok rant over, I'm off to read the papers! ;>)

Oh dear, another quiet day. I suppose everyone is doing what "her indoors" is up to, Ladies Day at Ascot. It's OK for some. other poor souls like me have to work for a living.

I think I'll have a raid of the freezer and see if there is anything tasty in there.

Any idea where the ash trays are kept?

Keaydian that is a sore point in here, it's a non smoking establishment apart from the smoking room upstairs and the back porch where yours truly tends to nip out for a quiet ciggie when things are quiet, so ashtrays in the main bar I'm afraid are no more, we've gone all politically correct ;>)

Nice bright and sunny day in Hastings. I am looking forward to the weekend after another boring week at work.

Next week I will be in Hamburg for 3 days, never been there I hear its nice, not that I will see much as it work related....

Morning all, In Sevenoaks today for some painting and decorating so we are ready to have some carpets laid on Monday. Its a bit cold here, feels like early spring..

I told Lambykins he really must tidy the coffee shop up and I reminded him that he had promised a refresh several weeks ago, he looked a bit sheepish and said he would do it soon....

Mrs S has just informed me of a special treat while we are waiting for the paint to dry, yes you guessed it we are going to Ikea and Bluewater...... AGAIN...

Actually I have found a good way of handling Bluewater, go up to first floor, go into Starbucks with newspaper, stay there until Mrs S has finished shopping, then leave.

By the way I have noticed that Mrs S rarely actually buys anything on these shopping trips however on the way home she always tells me about lots of nice things she has seen..... I obviously don't appreciate the finer points of shopping... ;-)

I've had the fixer man in today, new modem on my broadband required, installed and running. All in the space of five minutes, the man from Blueyonder he say Yes!
