Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Spaceman - 12 Jul 2006 20:29 - 10724 of 24230

Just back from Ikea !!!

Well 2 good things:

The meat balls in tha cafe were very nice.
We bought a solid Oak Table 220 x 90 cm half price for 137, it will make an excellent desk.

optomistic - 12 Jul 2006 23:44 - 10725 of 24230

Ikean meatballs Spacie! now I'm beginning to get worried about your diet... LOL

Big Al - 13 Jul 2006 03:52 - 10726 of 24230

Morning!

Bit of bun fight yesterday morning. I was wondering why there's always toast, croissants, etc. I quite fancy bacon, sausage, fried eggs, mushrooms, black pudding, fried bread, tinned tomatoes. If there's time, some halved, fried kidneys wouldn't go amiss either.

Orange juice and fresh, strong coffee is all that's neede for accompaniment. ;-)))

Now, which hammock does the defibrilator lie in. ;-0

Golddog - 13 Jul 2006 08:35 - 10727 of 24230

The coffee house door bursts open and a tired looking poochy walks in and sits down by the fire place to doze off! Now Poochy is a Dad and every moment he can rest is oh oh heaven. :-) actually being a Dad is great! i recommend it. I have a lovely little (well big!!) daughter named Katie and she takes after her dad. No shes no dog! But for now let me sleep a little longer, please.
:-)

KEAYDIAN - 13 Jul 2006 08:43 - 10728 of 24230

I wonder if you can barbecue black pudding.

2 slices of toast please, with mug of tea, and can I have that to go.

jj50 - 13 Jul 2006 09:16 - 10729 of 24230

Morning all and especially poochy :-)

Many congratulations on Katie, although I am not quite sure how to respond to "she takes after her dad"!! LOL (Vision of Bods swigging baby?). Hope things are great in the GD household anyway :-)

OK, Big A, shall see what we can do about FEB - although only fresh tomatoes here and I shall throw in a lamp chop ....... aaaagh .. sorry lambykins!

K - think barbecue black pudding could be dangerous!

stockbunny - 13 Jul 2006 09:25 - 10730 of 24230

Ahhh congrats to the Daddy :>)
I think we still have Bods about somewhere.....

Spaceman - 13 Jul 2006 10:31 - 10731 of 24230

JJ, you will get a session with Sven with talk like that, breaking house rule no 3 ;-)

Welcome GD, great to see you, help yourself to a few pints of biddingtons.

Al, there tend to be a few more FEBS around at the weekend ;-)

jj50 - 13 Jul 2006 12:26 - 10732 of 24230

Spacey ... "well"....LOL

OK, kettle on and chilled everything available...

Socrates - 13 Jul 2006 17:39 - 10733 of 24230

Wow, Golddog with a daughter, whatever next. Takes after him too, poor lass. Congrats all the same GD. Great to see you in the Coffee House too.

Big Al - 13 Jul 2006 21:10 - 10734 of 24230

jj - fresh tomatoes are OK, but I do like to soak everything in the juice you get out of the tin. ;-)))

FEBs are for every day, Spacie. A good sprinkling of Lea and Perrins and ground black pepper are of course required too.

Big Al - 13 Jul 2006 21:11 - 10735 of 24230

PS - Congrats Golddog. Wondered where you'd been. ;-)

optomistic - 13 Jul 2006 21:46 - 10736 of 24230

He's been making babies Al.... very ardous task.
Congrats Poochy, lots of bods left around here from times gone bye....still in date! :-0)

Priscilla - 14 Jul 2006 09:05 - 10738 of 24230

Many congratulations to Poochy and his lady on the arrival of little Katie, the newest and youngest member of the cafe team.

MightyMicro - 14 Jul 2006 11:16 - 10739 of 24230

Congratulations to Golddog!

I've been looking for an excuse for a mid-morning glass of bubbly -- pass the Mumm Napa, if you will, and a sufficiency of glasses for all those present.

*Pop* *Fizz* *glug, glug* *Slurp* Cheers all!

Big Al - 14 Jul 2006 22:38 - 10740 of 24230

Didn't know you needed any excuse, MM. ;-))

Socrates - 15 Jul 2006 07:52 - 10741 of 24230

Good morning from a grey Cotswolds. Woken up by an early bird today, to be precise a rampant pigeon plighting his troth out side my window.

I'll get the tea and coffee on so that any bleary eyed early risers don't have to wait.

I see Pru is still living in the garden shed and doing a sterling job keeping the garden in order. In fact the garden will be competition for Versailles if he keeps up the good work. Bit worried about where he's getting the statuary from though.

Socrates - 15 Jul 2006 07:54 - 10742 of 24230

Ouch!

Just walked around where a sign used to be and bumped into the wall.

optomistic - 15 Jul 2006 08:53 - 10743 of 24230

Morning Socco,
Lots of troth plighting going on up here as well, pidgeons and doves, problem is being so close to houses they cannot be shot. Running out of pidgeon I am!
