Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Well I have had Fred on filter for some time but after my post yesterday when I noticed a blank post I thought that could be Fred saying something nice so I unfiltered him. Wish I hadn't now. Fred you really are an absolute cunt making comments like that at this time. You should have a long hard look at yourself in the mirror and see if you like the kind of person you have become. If you have shred of decency you will apologise for that remark.
PTH and Greekman - thanks for the comments. As it turns out my wife finally tracked down last of her relatives last night and all alive albeit some in a difficult situation. Still no word from some friends mind you who are in towns that got hit by the tsunami. Also aunt and uncle living in Fukushima who survived the quake were as of yesterday relying on a local spring for drinking and washing water. Might have to change that plan given developments at the nuclear plant.

Issacs,
Posting 10744.
The thought of your blood boiling does have some appeal to me.
It almost makes me repeat the offending remarks.

Hmmm? Apparently not. Pity really. Apparently they are saying that Boardwalk Empire is one of the best shows on TV at the present time.
So is anyone watching Raymond Blanc then?

Coq au Vin - a la Raymond Blanc
Or maybe even 'The Event', where half the cast have DNA, which is 1% different to humans' and who are inviting an alien invasion and which kicked off again last night after a surprise break off right in the middle of the last series?

Am still watching repeats of Friends , as am not a fan of American sit/com's i didn't bother watching it the first time around, but am finding it very funny and the casting is spot on.

Doc,
I Sky+'d Boardwalk Empire but, after the first episode, realised that I was never going to find the time to watch the whole series. I've now bought the DVD box set instead and have been watching it in the car. It's good.

Isaccs and ALdwick,
I thought my level of comment was similar to
"Isaacs 04 Feb 2009 12:05 - 722 of 4570
I seem to remember an innocent child in Portugal being sacrificed for a few plates of tapas as well.

Fred - please don't worry as I definitely will not sacrificing my small children to go and have a glass of wine and a few olives."

Fred - is that all you can say? I would have accepted a polite apology and you would have gone up in my estimations but instead you try to be clever. You really are a poor excuse for a human being.
In that case we were discussing a third party who was not on here and to our knowledge nobody on here was affected directly by Madeline McCann or anything similar.
You saw what I posed about about waiting to hear if my wife's relatives were ok in the face of tens of thousands probably being killed and hundreds of thousands close to radiation exposure and you take joy in "my blood boiling" about ridiculous comments linking it to the second war.
Not going to say anymore. I think you have nailed your colours to the mast.

A remark against a person present, or not present contains the same sentiment and was offensive and vilifying of the McCanns.
I thought making you blood boil slightly over the top and while I wish all who are in Japan well, the my image constructed after reading your posting still has appeal to me.
I see no more need to apologise for my remark.

Hi Isaacs,
I would have thought you would have joined the list of the 'Fred' squelcher's.
The reason I and I am sure many others either stopped posting here or like myself rarely post is due to many who still reply to his incessant winding up. I am sure if you say night is darker than day, he will argue the opposite. I don't mind any counter opinion or arguments, if it is intended to add to grown up sensible debate. Unfortunately Fred's sole intention in life appears to be designed to get peoples backs up. Not having a go at yourself, just suggesting you ignore his drivel.
Glad your wifes family is OK.

What has made things worse is the delay by the Japanese asking for help to control the situation at the damaged power plant. The Prime minister should have acted earlier.

Why does the Japanese PM always wear a boiler suit? Has he been trying to fix the power station himself or something?
Oh, and Doc and Timbo. Of course I don't watch the DVD while I'm driving myself. I'm too busy doing my lippy to watch DVDs at the same time. I know women can multi-task, but I'm not a bloody octopus, doncha know? Strewth!

"The Prime minister should have acted earlier. "
What exactly should he have done earlier?
By the way, how many of the "toxic chemical factories" or "research facilities" are "secured" against similar type disasters.
Not necessarily earthquake driven.)

A UK rescue team says they were forced to leave Japan because they could not secure the necessary paperwork from the British embassy in Tokyo.
The International Rescue Corps said they were not given permission to work in Japan because it would have made the embassy legally responsible for them.

Hilary,
Don't know about multi-tasking, but how is it that whenever my wife is watching something important, you know like any cooking/gardening/house improving or similar program my wife glares daggers at me if I interrupt by talking even briefly, but when something trivial like 'world breaking news or any type of sport, especially football, it's OK to incessantly rattle on.
I often think that if the news was that the third world war had broken out and I drew her attention to it, she would say, "Is it dear" then go back to reading her book (she is an avid bookworm), but if the news was say, something to do with a celeb then it would be all ears.
Women! As they say, can't live with them, can't live without them.
Note.... Women have to multi-task as they can't concentrate on 1 thing for more than 2 seconds.
Now.....Will this wind Hilary up?
Greek.
