Morning campers, heavy rain overnight in Hastings but its hot again already.

Packed few days for me, test driving a car, buying some furnature and going to the motor show plus a week of looking after my 14 year old nephew, oh and 3 days off work.

Good morning all. Slightly cooler here in the Cotswolds, intermittent sun so it is much more bearable. Washing dried overnight so I assume no rain here.

Trolley race on later today plus a visit to Waitrose, must buy a new phone for the landline. The old phone is making strange noises and losing it's memory, and it's not even drawing it's pension yet!

Well I wish someone had told me we had construction work going on! Just went in the stock cupboard saw some bloke in there and crowned him with a frying pan - well I thought he was a burglar not a builder! He may need a lot of Guinness to help bring him round again...oh dear.....

Hello. Opto, I have some aspirin if you are feeling a bit fragile. If that doesn't work a nice cold sherry trifle poultice might help, it has the added advantage that if you feel peckish you can eat it.

Sure thing Socco, I think it will be better to eat (drink) it.

Remind me not to put Socs in charge of first aid ;>)

Slight dilema.

Need some butter for my toast but the fridge has a sign hanging from the handle saying "Do Not Disturb"

Knock knock, can I have the butter please.

Don't worry it's only Socs if you are quiet he wont wake up :>)

I think I heard a slight mumble.

Just open the door, grab what you want - careful now...don't want any unexpected surprises.... - and close the door again, he wont even notice.

No need to knock, it's not a private fridge. Did you know it was built by the same firm that did the Tardis? Plenty of room inside, as long as you avoid the odd Dalek.

Near disaster today, latest load of sherry trifle arrived with an apology saying that the sherry harvest was late and all the sherry trees have blight, yeah well!

Never mind, I've laced the trifle with 5 star brandy, tastes a bit different but wow, what a kick!
