THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

I have never filled in a census and I have been around to fill in at least 5. They don't try too hard to get you to fill it in.

"but I do hope that they come looking for u and issue a fine for not complying with the request."

That'll be 5 years worth of fines then now.. On behalf of all tax payers I wish to thank you so much -):

They won't care about the previous ones. In fact they have no way of knowing as the details are not recorded that way. They will just say fill it in and keep coming back. Then they get bored and don't come back. That's the way it always happens. Or you could tell thwem that you have posted it off and they have lost it. They mostly come when I am out anyway.

There may be about 60 million people in the Uk, but there are only about 25 million households. That means that nearly 30% of the households have not filled it in. They stand no chance of getting them filled in.

Yes, I understand that but now that we are "All in this Together" I assumed that you would like to make this voluntary contribution.

KEAYDIAN - 07 Apr 2011 13:29 - 10849 of 81564

Do us Krytonians have to fill in a census?

This_is_me - 07 Apr 2011 13:49 - 10850 of 81564

Why do they have to ask about health problems? The NHS has all that information anyway. Similarly with most of the questions asked.

What

1. Preceded God...
2. Is greater than God...
3. Is more Evil than the devil...
4. All poor people have it...
5. Wealthy people need it....
6. If you eat it, you will die?

A wife asks her husband "Could you please go shopping for me and buy one carton of milk, and if they have eggs, get 6!"

A short time later the husband comes back with 6 cartons of milk.

The wife asks him, "Why the hell did you buy 6 cartons of milk?"

He replied, "They had eggs."

Like the labourer on a building site who was asked to get 20 Benon & Hedges and if they don't have them then anything will do.

He returned with a pork pie.

Did you know that Lockhed Martin the US defense contractor is running out census and has all the data. Would they pass on data to the US government if asked?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2011/feb/19/census-boycott-lockheed-martin

Isaacs - 07 Apr 2011 14:57 - 10857 of 81564

They are welcome to my data if they want it. Nothing to hide.

This_is_me - 07 Apr 2011 16:06 - 10858 of 81564

Does anyone doubt that the US has free access to all data held by our government however collected?

Stan - 07 Apr 2011 16:06 - 10859 of 81564

H/S,

Yes, I did know about the LM connection and don't think much of it, but will probably still co-operate. 40%, is that higher then the last one in London?

Fred1new - 07 Apr 2011 16:28 - 10860 of 81564

Isaacs,

Always thought you a little vacuous!

8-)

Fred1new - 07 Apr 2011 16:30 - 10861 of 81564

Hays,

You could leave the country, I had last time.

Nobody would notice us missing.

Isaacs - 07 Apr 2011 21:49 - 10862 of 81564

Speaking of vacuous are you suggesting Hays jumps in a time machine back a few weeks so he can be out of the country on census day?

Haystack - 07 Apr 2011 22:05 - 10863 of 81564

What would happne if you just said you were out of the country? I suppose you would have to fill in the census form to say that though.
