Jubilee Platinum (JLP)

Sooner44 - 15 Apr 2005 08:31

Any holders out there - there's some buying going on.....

andysmith - 02 Oct 2005 20:24 - 109 of 798

I don't go on ADVFN so won't see this blokes bearish comments.
Although always a risk until confirmed, the potential is not restricted here, there are at potentially 3 to 5 world-class mines which is what attracted me to JLP.
Just over 50m shares and over 50% held by institutions, any confirmation on one , let alone two could send this flying. Heres hoping anyway.

seawallwalker - 02 Oct 2005 22:41 - 110 of 798

There always seems to a Bear on the block in each stock especially on ADVFN.

Comes as expected.

I like to make my own decisions on stocks and in this case JLP seem on the face of it to be as written.

Is it a perverse pleasure these people get when and if their comments become reality?

If so they are sick.

Simple really, DYOR.

seawallwalker - 03 Oct 2005 19:01 - 111 of 798

Following on from Mr Ashley James on ADVFN, he has now cut to the chase.

It is all a ramp for PLA.AX.

As I said, DYOR.

andysmith - 03 Oct 2005 21:21 - 112 of 798

Explain, what is PLA.AX?
Not that it bothers me, investment has been made and patient to see what develops here.

chippy2 - 03 Oct 2005 21:47 - 113 of 798

Andy, I shouldnt worry, Mr Ashley James seems to be off his trolley !!

andysmith - 03 Oct 2005 22:09 - 114 of 798

Not worried SWW & chippy, if I was I'd have sold when it nose-dived to 32p a few months back, instead I topped up. Just like to know what these dimbwits are harking on about. If they scare folk off at this early stage it will just present more buying opportunities as the upside potential is vast here. Thanks Andy.

seawallwalker - 03 Oct 2005 22:20 - 115 of 798

PLA.AX

Here it is andy.

Make of it what you will.

I have no objection to other stocks, I object to degrading by innuendo others to promote your own shares that you hold.

seawallwalker - 03 Oct 2005 22:34 - 116 of 798

IMO dyor like I do.

Take no notice other others till you know 100% you can trust them.

There are not many.

And I included myself...........

seawallwalker - 06 Oct 2005 07:08 - 117 of 798

Madagascar result - positive

Should fly this morning.............

(Says me hopefully).

Highlights

Multi-metal intersection in the second borehole confirms continuity
along strike of formation

The 75-metre true width of mineralization lends itself to low cost
bulk mining

Mineralization is consistent with that identified in borehole LAV1 -
as reported on 5th September 2005

In-situ gross metal value (GMV) of the intersection is US$52/t rock or
1.32% Cu equivalent at current metal prices

Intersections of higher GMV include 20 metres at US$98 per tonne rock
and 43.8 metres at $77/tonne rock.

These results compare favourably with bulk mining projects currently
being developed world-wide

Eat my shorts.............(thats shorts as in shorts, not shorts as in shorts, preferably after I've worn them for a few weeks!).

seawallwalker - 06 Oct 2005 12:56 - 118 of 798

Thank Birdy for this one.

The only blue in my sea of red.

Well done.

Jubilee Platinum says Madagascar could become 'significant' mining region

" LONDON (AFX) - Jubilee Platinum PLC said results from tests on its Lavatrafo property on Madagascar are encouraging.

Its second borehole confirmed the continuity of the recent discovery, the miner said.

Colin Bird, CEO of Jubilee, said: 'We believe that the results could lead to Lavatrafo becoming a significant mining region.'

All good imo.

Big Al - 06 Oct 2005 14:09 - 121 of 798

Greetings one and all. Stuck a few in my smaller long-term account on 23rd Sept at 48-and-a-bit. seawallwalker alerted me to your thread - nice stuff.

Interesting you all mention our dear friend Ashley. He used to post on AM in the early days, but got banned. In fact he was also banned from ADVFN for a while too, but I see he's been allowed back. I've personally been bumping into him for about 6 years. Self-styled mining guru he has always been and always made me laugh. Have actually spoke to him on the phone once - loud, fast and hard work IMO.

Hoping JLP flies over the coming years, though. My last good miner was AQP from when it floated on AIM. ;-)

seawallwalker - 06 Oct 2005 14:35 - 122 of 798

Hi Al.

Thanks for you comments all of which are entirely useful.

Big Al - 07 Oct 2005 22:16 - 123 of 798

OK dudes.

Do we panic and sell on this pullback or do we hold. Quick check on stop position and decide there's plenty in the stop.

;-)

seawallwalker - 07 Oct 2005 22:23 - 124 of 798

We hold.

Rerating coming............... should do the trick.

Get back to your rig and turn on the gas!

They are all waiting for breakfast bacon rolls.

queen1 - 07 Oct 2005 22:28 - 125 of 798

A definate hold Big Al. There is SO much potential!

queen1 - 10 Oct 2005 12:32 - 127 of 798

Why the negative re-rating after such an excellent update news? If the potential is anything up to 1.70 per share surely the recent good news isn't all in the price.

seawallwalker - 10 Oct 2005 13:10 - 128 of 798

Maybe because of the 25% gain over the last few weeks, probably wanting consolidation?

No idea really just guessing.

Seen it all before and I am prepared to wait with this one.
