Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

I dont plan to retire as the pension I have worked all my life to accrue is worth damn all as some robbing Ba--ard has spent it for me and the goverment will take the rest in tax to keep the ILL IMS to a standard to which they are unaccustomed!!! Bitter me?? Naww!!!

You can fool some of the people most of the time etc ,ect ,
Labour has opened up a seven-point lead as support for the Conservatives has fallen dramatically over the past month, according to a poll.
The number of voters intending to back Labour has risen by two points to 42% while those planning to support the Tories has fallen five points to 35%, the Reuters/Ipsos Mori survey found.
The Tories' Liberal Democrat coalition partners saw their support creep up a single point to 10% - still significantly down on their pre-government ratings.

nope, so called pension fund managers??? Our goverment abolished the retirement age as they are well aware that the number of impoverished pension holders claiming state aid would be unsustainable so the answer?? Keep them working. While they still work tax them hard, when they become ill and unable to work tax them harder, when they die, really roger them. They people who enable us to stay in power and protect us from the nasty wannabe pensioners, let them retire at 50 with a nice insulated pension. This is our goverments, not just the cons all of them.If we decided to go communist we would have even fatter cats shooting us if we get out of line. Its a case of picking the best of a grim bunch I am afraid.Abolish credit cards, make people save for what they want, reduce income tax, reduce vat to 10%,cleanse the civil service and other goverment sponsered companies including banks of fat cats. let the nurses and doctors run the hospitals, treble the car tax on any private vehicle over 1400cc, introduce a special low tax diesel rate for haulage. introduce a low tax for companies based on their number of employees and output, reintroduce apprenticeships, introduce a lower tax for the wealthy who invest in this country.Yep I could go on and on and I reckon there are a few that would disagree, but thats my slant on it for what its worth Salut!

The higher up you are, the better it is to look down the cleavages of those dolly birds that flock round the cars and drivers.
OH yes, there is also the secondary benefit of also seeing more of the course.

Is it ok to own a 4x4 outside an urban area providing you don't use it for the school run? Just checking I am going to be safe in this new world.

Aldwickk,
How about 'eye candy' or is that also out.
Skinny,
Just watched the clip. Going straight out to buy a guitar and the sheet music. Will be busking in our local market tomorrow.
Will report back what I get.
Probably, a few pennies and 6 months.
Nice to see the PC brigade don't tend to rule on here.

Wild council spending under Labour.
How is this for a pathetic excuse. Cornwall Council said many of the spending figures it gave to The Daily Telegraph were inaccurate because they had not been converted from foreign currencies into sterling.

Man dies from severe burns in incident at lake
Published on Monday 30 May 2011 09:34
A MAN has died after suffering severe burns while in Delapre Abbey Park in Northampton.
Police and emergency medical helicopters were called to the lake near Ransome Road at 7.20pm on Friday.
A 24-year-old man was taken to hospital by land ambulance but died on arrival.
Police said they were not treating the death as suspicious and were conducting investigations on behalf of the coroner.
Comment:
I often go for a walk round this local lake and its vicinity. There is lovely short grass to sit on and big trees offering a bit of shade if it gets a bit hot.
Although there are notices discouraging it, placed there by the local water ski club who lease the lake for their water sports, it looks easy and inviting to swim in the lake too. There are the ski clubs old jetties to dive off and the water, where it's near to the edges can be seen to be clean and clear.
Obviously, it's quite popular and a great place to barbecue with one's friends and family because there are also picnic benches about too.
I wonder if this incident was also a 'petrol at the barbecue' incident and what happened was similar to the burn incident, which Mr Euro, a MAM user on this board, got himself involved in a few years ago?
