Shares In Red Rock Resources Run Rampant, As Good News Comes In From All Fronts

By Sally White

'Red Rock will be graduating into the ranks of the gold producers before the year is out, as production is slated to start in a few weeks time. Thats one reason why the share price has been on the march of late. But there are others, too. The value of its stake in Jupiter Mines has leapt, and theres 7million coming in from a deal on another. Adding to that, the company can also now see growing value in its 26.3 per cent stake in uranium and rare earth explorer Resource Star, as rare earths and uranium come back into market favour.

Profits in future years are now anticipated, not only from investment but from gold production says Red Rock chairman Andrew Bell, and with the recovery in uranium and rare earth markets we see potential for Resource Star to develop in the same way as Jupiter as a major asset.

Jupiter Mines continues to go from strength to strength, and has now closed its much-praised deal to acquire a 49.9 per cent interest in the South African Tshipi manganese prospecting permit. While the share issue...'

cynic - 19 Nov 2010 08:53 - 125 of 859

certainly an impressive performance this month, though it is always worrying when TW and friends and funds manage such a large slab, tout the stock like crazy and can manipulate the market to a greater or lesser extent

Red Rock Resources Investment in Ascot Mining pl

Andrew Bell, CEO of Red Rock Resources commented, "Red Rock is delighted to be involved with Ascot in this exciting stage of the Company's development. With these funds in place, Ascot is poised to accelerate its gold production over the coming months and is well placed to add new projects to the already attractive portfolio of gold producing assets."

Tom Winnifrith of the SF t1ps Smaller Companies Gold Fund commented, "On my calculations, and on a fully diluted basis, Ascot Mining is now capitalised at less than 18 million, with net cash of 3 million. I believe that in six months, Ascot will be generating free operating cash flow of approximately 20 million per annum. The maths are compelling. We are delighted to be a partner in such an exciting opportunity."
