We are due to go to Chippenham for the weekend but the weather forecast isnt looking very good so we might cancel.

Hello Socco, not much cooking in here lately. Down to self service 'after hours' I'm afraid :-(

I think I'll cook then, how about cow in pastry (beouf en croute to you), with new spuds, brussels sprouts and onion gravy. I don't need to tell you what I'll do for afters, do I?

Good evening one and all. Shock, horror! Someone wants to buy HOF for 148p a share when I bought the IPO at 180p. That's not much of a gain is it?
Still, I've a few discounts and divis out of it so overall not lost anything, may never happen of course.
I feel like cooking again, how about Quiche Lorraine?

Hello Socco,
HOF, that sounds like one of my type of trades.
Who's Lorraine, not met her is she nice?

Hi Opto, HOF wasn't exactly a trade. I bought it in 1996 I think it was. when it was an IPO at 180p. Since then had lots of discount vouchers and divis which made it worthwhile holding. It always irks me when a share gets bought out at less than the original price. Still, as I said, it's not happened yet. I understand there may be another bidder in the wings, but that is only BB chat so there may be no substance in it.
Lorraine? Luton airport, in'it!

Morning All
The blackberry bushes out the back have done well this year, so it's apple and blackberry crumble today, all day or blackberry jelly on whatever you like!
