optomistic - 05 Sep 2006 09:19 - 11135 of 24230

Real food!! very essential Dave...Stocks lots of them about all about to climb through the roof..LOL

stockbunny - 05 Sep 2006 10:13 - 11136 of 24230

Yea!!!!
Dave is back, the coffee house has its Dazzler back on the premises :>)
So how's things and the little Dazzlers then?

I'll ignore the comment about real food - just this once LOL

Spaceman - 05 Sep 2006 11:20 - 11137 of 24230

hot and humid in the BA lounge at Gatwick as well and I was hoping it would be cool and calm...

Its such a pain travelling at the moment with the additional security that I am sure it must be affecting the profits of some of the airlines.

No snails for me please but a nice coffee and a warm danish would be lovely.

stockbunny - 05 Sep 2006 11:44 - 11138 of 24230

Yes but if it helps I understand that security hold-ups the other side of the pond are no longer then security hold ups here Spacie - buy a good book :>)

Spaceman - 05 Sep 2006 11:50 - 11139 of 24230

Bunny I heard that so at least coming home should be more civilised, I dont have room for a book, they only let you have one very small bag and mine is already full with PC/IPOD/Phone/Digital Camera/DVT socks/Notepad/and not forgetting Lambykins who is saving money by travelling in my bag ;-)

stockbunny - 05 Sep 2006 12:27 - 11140 of 24230

Socs Spacie?
You got poor Socs in there! ;>)
LOL
Well seems like you have a few distractions anyway to while away the hours.

Actually on a more serious note - aren't the DVT socks supposed to be on your feet? Don't think they do a lot in your bag for you!

Socrates - 05 Sep 2006 17:35 - 11141 of 24230

No, I'm here. Got trapped in the hammock for a while and been living on emergency reserves of sherry trifle and corned beef rissoles.

Spaceman - 06 Sep 2006 01:26 - 11142 of 24230

bunny ;-) the DVT socs made it to my feet in the end.

Well here we are in not sunny Houston, its grey drizzle but hot and humid, almost everything that I dont like. At a first glance Houston seems to consisit of a lot of car parks.

Lambykins forgot to book himself a room so I am letting him stay in my wardrobe.

Spaceman - 06 Sep 2006 01:28 - 11143 of 24230

Socs, be careful with that corned beef I think Bunny may have bulked it up a bit with snails....

stockbunny - 06 Sep 2006 08:34 - 11144 of 24230

Spacie you're stirring! ;>)
Don't take any notice Socs the corned beef is fine, it's the Spam you want to watch ;>)

Oh dear Spacie here's hoping to a sunny day for you tomorrow and less humidity :>)

jeffmack - 06 Sep 2006 14:05 - 11145 of 24230

Driving myself mad with online insurance quotes. Need to get health ins, life ins, income protection ins. All things I took for granted as an employee.

stockbunny - 06 Sep 2006 16:37 - 11146 of 24230

Good luck with that lot Jeff, can't help I'm afraid as I don't have most of those!
LOL
But obviously if you can it's a good idea to have them :>)

Socrates - 06 Sep 2006 17:50 - 11147 of 24230

Snails in the corned beef? That must account for the chewy bits. Never mind, it's all good protein.

Jeffmack, don't forget 3rd party liability. You trash some customer's system and they'll take you to the cleaners.

stockbunny - 07 Sep 2006 08:23 - 11148 of 24230

Another one to add to your list Jeffie! ;>)

jeffmack - 07 Sep 2006 10:36 - 11149 of 24230

Already got that one. Most people need cover for 1m, this mob are demanding cover for 5m, which is not easy to get.

stockbunny - 07 Sep 2006 10:39 - 11150 of 24230

No that is steep, most professional indemnity insurance or similar that I've seen is 1M or 2.5M
Good luck finding it Jeff - have you tried someone like Norwich Union and tried to get a discount for taking several policies with them?

daves dazzlers - 07 Sep 2006 11:15 - 11151 of 24230

Any blackjack players here, morning bunny, macca hows it hanging.
