Socco yawns and climbs carefully into the hammock. Poor old chap is tired, it's an age thing! More blue stocks today, must be lulling me into a false sense of security.

This thread's been shouting at me for about a week. Just want to see if I can put it right.

I'll have a nice mug of freshly brewed tea please, don't want any snails or lettuce or anything else - will lose my appetite for my meal when I get home. Then the drive home.

Mumm Napa Grande Ann 1999 for starters and I think Sterling Vineyards Napa Cabernet Sauvignon (Three Palms vineyard) for my Californians.

Although Ridge Vineyards Cabernet from high in the hills above Palo Alto beat the lot in tasting . . .

Well, never having been high in them thar hills - I wouldn't know :P

Spacie: Excellent wine list. It can be anything we want. I'm not into molluscs myself, so Choccie can have my portion. With beetroot leaves.

Bad news fellow diners....
Been slapped with an embargo - No More Snails - apparently there's been complaints from across the Channel that we have exceeded our EU limits...

So it's back to the usual stand-bys:

Tuna salad - or tuna salad sarnies
Salad sarnies
Bacon and egg with toast
Bacon butties (with or without egg)
Chip butties (with our without bacon or egg)
Or any odd combination of the above that you fancy!

Better change the menu Spacie or we'll be in trouble.
