stockbunny - 04 Oct 2006 13:40 - 11313 of 24230

OK now this isn't good enough!
Place has been deserted for days!

(opening windows and doors to air place out)

(turning on jukebox and wiping down bar)

(putting out beer mats)

Oh gawd!
(shuts fridge door quickly holding nose)

(diverts round overflowing bin)

OK going to get onto supplies and restock the bar and sort the kitchen out
but.....

WE ARE OPEN AS USUAL!

Seymour Clearly - 04 Oct 2006 13:48 - 11314 of 24230

What were those Snails trying to warn us about?

KEAYDIAN - 04 Oct 2006 13:51 - 11315 of 24230

Don't forget that tubbleweed over there.

Spaceman - 04 Oct 2006 13:52 - 11316 of 24230

Thanks for airing the place out bunny, i just noticed the builders seem to have deserted us as well, I better give them a call.

Please dont restock the place with snails the last lot made me feel ill just thinking about them.

stockbunny - 04 Oct 2006 13:53 - 11317 of 24230

optomistic - 04 Oct 2006 14:36 - 11320 of 24230

It's a bit early...but as you mentioned it, pint please Bunny :-)

Fundamentalist - 04 Oct 2006 15:28 - 11321 of 24230

Hi all

not been in for a while, could do with a few comforting guinesses please, have stupidly managed to damage my big toe (find out in the morning if broken)

Bunny, hope you werent too badly hit by PRTY

optomistic - 04 Oct 2006 15:31 - 11322 of 24230

Put you some Guinness in an ash tray Fundy, pop you toe in there.
Oh and a couple of pints to drink :-)

Fundamentalist - 04 Oct 2006 15:32 - 11323 of 24230

lol opto

stockbunny - 04 Oct 2006 15:38 - 11324 of 24230

Sorry to hear about the toe Fundy, hope it's not broke!
PRTY - not a big problem, I don't ever have a lot of cash (%) in anything, more of an annoyance then anything, but there you go, just means cash will be hung up for longer and wont be able to turn it round into something else quickly. But you are really the only one on another (nameless) thread IMHO who can say anything on PRTY's problems as I recall you were about the only one right from the start who wasn't at all keen on it and said so - I just get rattled when something goes down and people appear out of the walls circling round the loosers. But that's just my opinion etc.

Fundamentalist - 04 Oct 2006 15:46 - 11325 of 24230

Bunny

to be honest ive tried not to post on there too much, never fun when others are losing money.

stockbunny - 04 Oct 2006 15:52 - 11326 of 24230

True and some seem to have lost a lot...scary.....

Big Al - 05 Oct 2006 04:46 - 11327 of 24230

Wad'ya mean no snails?

optomistic - 05 Oct 2006 07:31 - 11328 of 24230

You'll just have to get used to it Al, this is now a snail free zone!

stockbunny - 05 Oct 2006 08:13 - 11329 of 24230

Can do you some shell fish if that helps the withdrawal symptoms Al?
Clam chowder, prawn curry, lobster......

optomistic - 05 Oct 2006 08:30 - 11330 of 24230

Lobster does sound better than s****s Bunny, reckon you could tempt him with that.....later though he's been working all night.
Out for the day now....Byeee

Big Al - 05 Oct 2006 23:52 - 11331 of 24230

Now then, lobster. That sounds superb.

Best lobster I ever had was in the Reef Hotel, Mombasa. The called it Newburgh and it was fabulous. The thing was such a size as to be a meal in itself as well. 'Scuse me whilst I head off into dreamland and re-live the days. ;-)))

stockbunny - 06 Oct 2006 08:41 - 11332 of 24230

Only thing is, you have to kill it Al - cos I can't do that but when you fancy some lobster just 'do the deed' and leave it in the fridge and I'll cook it - if I can find the book that shows me how LOL
