With video search set to be the next big growth area BLNX have the software the likes of Microsoft, Google and NewsCorp would love to have.

In fact BLNX have done deals with most of these, the most recent being the UtargetFox deal which has been reported in the USA but not RNS'd in the UK.

The ITN RNS confirms blnx is the best in the market and is growing fast:-

Leading News Organization ITN Extends Advertising Deal with blinkx Based on Proven Campaign Success

blinkx Selected to Power Advertising across ITN Website and Syndication Partner Sites

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. - July 2, 2008 - blinkx, the world's largest and most advanced video search engine, today announced that it has won an extension contract that will augment the scope of its advertising partnership with ITN, one of the world's leading news and multimedia content companies. Under the terms of the new agreement, ITN will use AdHoc, blinkx's patented contextual advertising platform for online TV and video, to serve advertisements on the ITN website and its syndication partner sites, including Bebo.

Through AdHoc, ITN has already been effectively monetizing its premium news content on the blinkx.com network for over six months. During this time, ITN achieved a significantly better return, greater search volume, and higher monetization through blinkx than through other syndication partners.

AdHoc uses blinkx's patented speech-to-text transcription and visual analysis technology to understand video content more thoroughly and effectively than any other service today, and can therefore dynamically place the most pertinent advertising against it. The AdHoc platform offers media companies and advertisers a unique value proposition -- video advertising which combines the emotive power of TV promotion, with the relevance and utility of contextual search advertising.

The confluence of ITN's premium TV content, blinkx's extensive syndication network, and AdHoc's uniquely powerful targeting capabilities was a formula for success. By extending its partnership with blinkx, ITN aims to achieve similar returns by leveraging the AdHoc platform to deliver contextually relevant video advertising on its own website and across its distribution partner sites.

'We're thrilled to be broadening our relationship with ITN,' said Suranga Chandratillake, founder and CEO of blinkx. 'News content is one of the most popular categories of online video and there's clearly a tremendous opportunity for monetization. The success of our partnership with ITN is evidence that the blinkx AdHoc platform is a uniquely powerful solution for online video advertising today.'

'We've been delighted with the results of our partnership with blinkx and are looking forward to implementing the AdHoc technology on our site,' said Nicholas Wheeler, managing director, ITN On. 'blinkx AdHoc has proven that it can achieve significant monetization of our content, effective marketing for advertisers and, most importantly, a useful, non-disruptive experience for our audience.'

As a pioneer in video search technology, blinkx has built a reputation as the most effective way to search new forms of online content such as video. With more than 350 partners and 26 million hours of indexed video and audio content, including favorite TV moments, news clips, short documentaries, music videos, video blogs and more, blinkx uses advanced speech recognition technology to deliver results that are more accurate and reliable than standard metadata-based keyword searches.

WTF you on about Clinic, as I told you in a previous post It is only a stop off to change planes from Bangkok to London I go no further than the first class terminal.

tabasco - 20 Jul 2010 11:42 - 1136 of 6187

ClubbyI make no comparisons with Warren BuffettI am better lookinglive in a larger and better propertyhave a more attractive wifeand I am far less wealthierso no comparisons there
My aged rockerare you in love with AutonomyI would suggest you read your postsmaybe glass houses?

cynic - 20 Jul 2010 11:42 - 1137 of 6187

sorry - didn't read properly .... cheap flight was it?
by chance, i used emirates 1st class last time to dubai .... it was ok, but really not significantly better than biz class, though the leoville poyferre 2000 was very nice indeed

Clubman3509 - 20 Jul 2010 11:48 - 1138 of 6187

Clinic you are full of shite First class on either Emirates, or Qatar is far superior to business class hence the price of 2,800 I doubt you have ever experianced business let alone first class.

Clubman3509 - 20 Jul 2010 11:58 - 1139 of 6187

Emirates first class

Clubman3509 - 20 Jul 2010 12:00 - 1140 of 6187

?

cynic - 20 Jul 2010 12:20 - 1141 of 6187

u disbelieveing little shitbag!

except shorthaul, i always use the sharp end of the plane.
to dubai, my preference is emirates, and my experience of their 1st class is as reported - actually, it only cost me an extra 200 due to some deal that black amex had going on those dates

i don't use qatar air as i have no need to fly into doha, and i am 99% certain that they do not fly direct (non-stop) from london to dubai

btw, i'm surprised cathay pacific or singapore air or virgin or similar quality lines do not fly direct (non-stop) from bkk to london

Toya - 20 Jul 2010 12:30 - 1142 of 6187

Clubby: that's cynic in the photograph you posted!

Clubman3509 - 20 Jul 2010 12:30 - 1143 of 6187

Black Amex, you are full of shite do you actually know how much one has to have on deposit to get this facility. Keep dreaming clinic.

Clubman3509 - 20 Jul 2010 12:32 - 1144 of 6187

Toya. Cynic travels in cattle class, on his post office debit card.

Could be his boyfriend though I heard he makes big money escorting.

tabasco - 20 Jul 2010 12:41 - 1145 of 6187

And still zipless/haystack is in full steam giving his valuable time to try and drive down the pricePeter why do you think he is giving so much time and energy in a stock he has no financial interest in he is also pasting the comments on all the used blnx threads on ADVFNI would say a bit desperate any ideas?honest answers appreciatedCynic?

Zipless - 20 Jul'10 - 12:10 - 68144 of 68144

There are now 18 BUY orders and 35 SELL orders on the order book for BLNX. More downwards pressure

cynic - 20 Jul 2010 12:41 - 1146 of 6187

why r u sometimes such a total prick!
amex centurion is a charge card and has nothing whatsoever to do with what money one has in the bank, except peripherally - i seem to have held one since 1994, which surprises me somewhat too, but then time flies when you are old
btw, if you own a black amex card you'll be able to tell me from what material the new ones are made - they've been in operation for at least the last year or so

Clubman3509 - 20 Jul 2010 12:49 - 1147 of 6187

I do not have one, neither do you. Centurion Card is by invitation only and has a huge minimum spend, along with the 1,800 fee per ann.

BTW it is made from weapons grade uranium. Titanium

Clinic you are a jewish employee not a movie star so get real.

cynic - 20 Jul 2010 12:55 - 1148 of 6187

so you really are a total tosser and it's not just the opinion of others which i have ignored up to now .... you are ignorant in all respects

fyi, the new series centurion amex is made from titanium, but it certainly makes one wonder how they will tackle destroying them once they expire

btw, though there is indeed a hefty annual fee, i was totally unaware of any minimum spend on it, but then i use it a lot

Toya - 20 Jul 2010 12:56 - 1149 of 6187

OK so he may not be a movie star Clubby, but it's a case of dyor before you assume cynic travels with the cattle.

Anyway, we're totally off-thread and BLNX has dropped a few points today, as was inevitable after such a steep climb.

cynic - 20 Jul 2010 12:58 - 1150 of 6187

T ... i know i owe you an e-maill(!!) - i haven't forgotten

Clubman3509 - 20 Jul 2010 13:00 - 1151 of 6187

Jewish employee working in an office hit a nerve Clinic.

dealerdear - 20 Jul 2010 13:00 - 1152 of 6187

I can't believe you even communicate with her cynic. An angry old woman is what I'd call her that lives in total fantasy land.

Clubman3509 - 20 Jul 2010 13:02 - 1153 of 6187

Good match then for Clinic another dreamer.

cynic - 20 Jul 2010 13:02 - 1154 of 6187

Toya? ..... where on earth did you get that idea? .... we chanced to meet several years ago at some scallywag mining company's AGM and enjoyed a very jolly lunch afterwards

clubby .... of dear oh dear oh dear ..... are you really reduced to such pathetic personal abuse? .... are you so insecure that you cannot admit error?
