Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

NM,
You didn't crow.
But my mother always told me as a little boy not to play with some boys as they would get me into trouble.
My father new better.
I must admit my spelling is appalling by the standards of other members of the family and I am grateful for the spelling checker, which tends to pick them uo as I type.
I wish there was a better grammar checker, which would correct my .,:;"!? etc.
Especially the ? , for which I often substitute .
I suspect that I am more interested in ideas and processing and have an indifference to the actual presentation.
Interestingly, one of my daughters, who has a postgraduate research job, also is/was dyslexic, but is able to program, analyse data and write reports.
All thanks to "computers" and the repeated imprinting from the screen.
But, her and my approach to initial analysis of problems is often at odds with the approach of her sisters. The end points are similar.
=======
Thought processing is fascinating.
--------.
Anyway, it is back to watching how the shenanigans of Cameron and Coulson develop.
-------------
The associations between political groups and the press has always been an area of abuse, but how much they actually effect the outcome of elections is debatable.
But it is interesting for me, to watch the press association and the tories ducking and diving.
For me, the moral indignation of Cameron is amusing. Strikes me as grasping for the moral high ground, in order to slip down on the other side.
(He really does appear to be a ham actor.)
Mind as the Tobacco companies say, Advertising doesnt effect the number of smokers, only the brand they inhale..

Watching Cameron squirming on BBC NEWS.
If Cameron has to appear as a character witness for A Coulson in a court of law , which way do you think his evidence will influence the jury?

And on a lighter note -
Paddy & Mick find three hand grenades, so they take them to a police station.
Mick: "What if one explodes before we get there?"
Paddy: "We'll lie and say we only found two."
Joe says to Paddy: "Close your curtains the next time you're having sex wij your wife. The whole street was watching and laughing at you yesterday."
Paddy says: "Well the joke's on them cos I wasn't even at home yesterday."
Paddy says to Mick - "I'm ready for a holiday, only this year I'm going to do it a bit different.
Three years ago I went to Spain and Mary got pregnant.
Two years ago I went to Italy and Mary got pregnant.
Last year I went to Majorca and Mary got pregnant."
Mick asks - "So what are you going to do this year?".
Paddy replies, - "I'll take her with me!"
Paddy says to Mick, "Christmas is on a Friday this year".
Mick says "Let's hope it's not the 13th."
Paddy's in the bathroom and Murphy shouts to him. "Did you find the shampoo?"
Paddy says, "yes but it's for dry hair and I've just wet mine."

Very funny skinny.
Have you heard the one about the two seat light aircraft which crashed into cemetry on the outskirts of Dublin? During a press conference the police confirmed there were no survivors, the current death toll was 34 but they were still finding bodies.
Hats off to Murdoch & his advisors. If he's doing what I think he is its a masterstroke and explains how he got to were he is.
edit: I'd even go as far as saying someone involved in this is a genius!

Not up with cooperate or company law.
Can some of the worldly wise help?
On the supposition that :-
1) It is proved that News of the World has been phone hacking
2) That executives are found prosecuted and found guilty
3) That there are many individuals will attempt to sue the News of the World for compensation of their privacy
4) The number of claimants is said to be colossal
5) Clifford is said to have said to have settled his claim on News of the World for close to 1,000.000
====
1) If the company is no longer trading and gone into administration does the subsidiary company have limited liability?
2) Is the News Corporation liable for the legal expenses and damages?
3) If so, and guessing, what will be the total costs of all the civil, criminal liabilities?
===============
It will be interesting to watch the future ducking and weaving regarding any involvement or prior knowledge of the participants, starting with No 10, the Police, other executives and the Murdochs.
I take responsibility for my actions, but it was not me Gov, it was somebody else who led me astray.
(Action man, himself.)
It is amazing the reluctance of Cameron to enquire more deeply into the functioning of Coulson, or into the proprietary of the News Corporation in their attempts to buy BSkyB.

It is interesting that the Labour Government knew in 2006 that there was a phone hacking problem, but chose not to do anything about it for fear of upsetting Murdoch.
The current Millipead hypocrasy is quite entertaining.

One can blame one's parents for their help in one's development of aberrant behaviour, but when one "comes of age" the responsibility for one's own actions and behaviour is one's own.
Cameron is trying to say "we" and "others" were too "trusting" is "escapism" near its "best or extreme".
He is attempting deny and dodge the responsibility of his actions by dissipating it amongst others.
The "blame" game is wearing thin, and Cameron's choice of "friends", is to say the least questionable.
