Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Seymour Clearly - 12 Oct 2006 23:19 - 11463 of 24230

Night night.

Who are Melbourne and Kuala? Honestly, some parents.

Socrates - 12 Oct 2006 23:32 - 11464 of 24230

Well I don't know. I get in late, eyes all blurred and climb the ladder to leap into the hammock and find myself perched on top of a coat stand like a dizzy vulture! What is going on in here, the place has gone too pot what with camp waiters and all. Then there is poor old Lambykins stranded in an elevated hammock. Mind you, the thought of a sheep doing a high wire act to return to its pasture is quite amusing.

Socrates - 12 Oct 2006 23:33 - 11465 of 24230

Heck, look at the time. I'm off for my beauty sleep. Goodnight all.

optomistic - 13 Oct 2006 08:29 - 11466 of 24230

K, reckon you've been in the naughty corner long enough....LOL...come over and have pot of tea.

KEAYDIAN - 13 Oct 2006 08:41 - 11467 of 24230

I'd rather have a very strong black coffee please and a bacon buttie.

stockbunny - 13 Oct 2006 09:02 - 11468 of 24230

Keaydian - are you a smoker?
Terrible habit! :>0

(Out the back, got a place under the porch, sheltered from the rain that I use for my ciggies since it all got politically correct in here) :>)

optomistic - 13 Oct 2006 09:05 - 11469 of 24230

There you go K, you've got company out there :-)

KEAYDIAN - 13 Oct 2006 09:44 - 11470 of 24230

Smoking stunts your growth, apparently.

optomistic - 13 Oct 2006 09:52 - 11471 of 24230

That must be why a ladder is needed to get into the hammock?

KEAYDIAN - 13 Oct 2006 09:55 - 11472 of 24230

Can I have another coffee please.

stockbunny - 13 Oct 2006 10:14 - 11473 of 24230

I stopped growing ages ago K so not a worry to me LOL ;>)
Opto - you've forgotten your danish!
K - coffee on its way

Spaceman - 13 Oct 2006 11:57 - 11474 of 24230

now thats enought talk about stunted growth ;-)

Any warm danish left for me?

KEAYDIAN - 13 Oct 2006 12:14 - 11475 of 24230

Just had an idea. How about a good old fashioned sign warning peeps not to move the ladder. It could read:

'Warning ladder in constant use, small people alert!

Spaceman - 13 Oct 2006 13:43 - 11476 of 24230

K, NO !

;-)

and anyway lambykins isnt a person ...

Socrates - 13 Oct 2006 16:31 - 11477 of 24230

HELLO.

Spaceman - 13 Oct 2006 16:35 - 11478 of 24230

Evening Socs

Spaceman - 13 Oct 2006 16:38 - 11479 of 24230

signing off for a few hours for my drive to Hastings....

Socrates - 13 Oct 2006 16:42 - 11480 of 24230

Sorry for shouting but this hammock is excessively high, I may just get vertigo. Isn't that a lovely word, vertigo.

I was looking over a cliff once and standing next to a yokel, I said to him "have you got vertigo" and he said "no, oi live just around the corner"!

Spaceman - 13 Oct 2006 19:22 - 11481 of 24230

Socs, LOL, the old ones are the best ;-)

Well made it back to Hastings, now we are off out for something to eat.

Back later.

Socrates - 14 Oct 2006 08:09 - 11482 of 24230

Saturday, yippee, and Socco is on a roll. Well, maybe more a slice of toast than a roll. Just wondering what I should do if I scooped the lottery Jackpot. Buy a hotel, or an airplane or maybe even tax my car! Dreams.................

Meanwhile, back on an earthly level, FEB is about to be created.

As an aside, has anyone seen Pru the handyman lately? He seems to be missing from the gardeners hut, I wonder if he has gone walkabouts again.
