OK so you thought the title of the other thread was out of date BUT unfortunately there is no way to edit thread titles.

So here is a new title

This one has got the charts at the top again & has a link to the old one.

At least the Pru have confidence in OXB with 68m shares now or 12% of OXB!

cynic - 18 Mar 2008 10:22 - 1149 of 1451

can't work out whether that is Pru or M&G .... i know i am very thick, but it reads most confusingly

halifax - 18 Mar 2008 10:51 - 1150 of 1451

Both, M&G as you probably know is a wholly owned subsidiary of the PRU.

cynic - 18 Mar 2008 11:07 - 1151 of 1451

i know nothing!

poo bear - 18 Mar 2008 22:57 - 1152 of 1451

Time for some more refreshing honesty, lets have it elsewhere cynic!!

cynic - 19 Mar 2008 07:38 - 1153 of 1451

my views are always honest even if unpalatable to some, and i am always happy to be shot down by others where i am proved wrong .... the odd plaudit when proven right (surprisingly often) would also not go amiss

robstuff - 19 Mar 2008 16:28 - 1154 of 1451

what a load of crap! not you cynic, the sp

cynic - 19 Mar 2008 16:45 - 1155 of 1451

forgiven - lol!

robstuff - 25 Mar 2008 10:38 - 1156 of 1451

positive trial news for Trovax re Prostate cancer today!! Trovax is looking to be extremely versatile with enormous potential, the value could be Billions pa in commercial development IMO.

driver - 26 Mar 2008 14:31 - 1157 of 1451

A small bit in the D/Mail today explaining yesterdays rise.

Toya - 18 Apr 2008 10:20 - 1158 of 1451

As with Cynic's ORE: OXB looks like it's had a similar dose of Viagra today, if not a dose of its own medicine Trovax

dealerdear - 18 Apr 2008 10:25 - 1159 of 1451

We think alike Toya. About to say the same thing. Some interest in this today.

Decided to take a punt based on weakness of sp.

Mind you, it could be because I hold at a higher price lol

Toya - 18 Apr 2008 10:29 - 1160 of 1451

I'm still waiting for the price to climb back to those heady heights of 25p myself! Hopefully not too long to go.

driver - 18 Apr 2008 10:32 - 1161 of 1451

Toya
Do you mean 60p waiting for 100p myself.

Toya - 18 Apr 2008 10:37 - 1162 of 1451

I'd be nicely in profit at 60p thanks, even more so at 100p - just waiting for it to break even for me again, and a good steady climb from there.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Oxford, UK - 21 April 2008: Oxford BioMedica (LSE: OXB), the leading gene therapy company, announces today that it will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Friday, 9 May 2008, 11.00am, at the offices of Morrison & Foerster MNP, CityPoint, One Ropemaker Street, London EC2Y 9AW. A notice of the 2008 Annual General Meeting was sent to shareholders on 3 April 2007.

hangon - 23 Apr 2008 11:21 - 1164 of 1451

AGM - Toya, are you going?

I'm not sure we should reach 60p on the basis of the first success ( if only!), as Mrs Kingley sold a load of stock at under 50p only a year ago. . . presumably she wanted the money and couldn't wait another year, or two . . . seemed a tad odd, but then Execs can vote themselves more Options, can't they?
IMHO - + DYOR .

Toya - 23 Apr 2008 13:51 - 1165 of 1451

I may well be going to the AGM Hangon, yes, as I do think this is an interesting company.

cynic - 25 Apr 2008 10:58 - 1166 of 1451

sp suddenly quite perky ...... no obvious reason and volume does not currently look at all exceptional ..... i hold, but keep watching just in case the long-mooted t/o materialises ...... however, rise is more likely to be short-term following the buy note the other day

dealerdear - 25 Apr 2008 11:46 - 1167 of 1451

Now that I can get my computer going I'm able to see what is going on which is not a lot!

Christ, If they 'sell in May and go away' they'll be nobody left!

OXB does look interesting though. Perhaps it's just the anticipation leading up to the AGM.
