Socco you're right about the landings :-)
Red light hotels definately give a wide birth.

So, there I was last night closing down my PC when this massage popped up saying that MS upgrade was ready to install Microsoft Exploder 7. So I now have this nice new explorer screen which, oddly enough, is exactly the same as the one I had before.

Iffy day on the old portofilo, like my school reports used to say "could do better".

Spaceman - 20 Oct 2006 18:48 - 11550 of 24230

Hi Socs, IE7 is fairly good, main benefit is that it has tabs (which other excellent browsers have had for a while) its just been released from a huge public beta and the release version is much better that the final beta. It appears to be very stable and fast I have to say I am impressed and I am not normally impressed by MS.

Your right about a landing that you can walk away from being a good one, when I was a pilot I tested that every time I landed ;-)

Spacie
I was using the latest MS Explorer Beta and have not yet noticed any difference. Mind you, I only use the basic functions because I don't know any better. I'm OK with tabs though.

Spaceman - 20 Oct 2006 21:05 - 11552 of 24230

Socs, no functional differences between the release and the beta, its faster on my machine and so far it has not crashed. I reemoved the beta last week because i was ahving problems with crashes and with some secure sites.

Crash, MS products crash?

optomistic - 20 Oct 2006 22:25 - 11554 of 24230

Probably got your "Microsoft Exploder 7" on board Socco..... LOL

Hello, sunshine on a Saturday, whatever next?

Busy weekend for Socco, antiques fair at the racecourse and then shopping today. Tomorrow a family history fair at the Pump Room.

Now for something really important, breakfast. Since I can't decide between FEB or continental I'll have both.

Socrates - 21 Oct 2006 15:05 - 11556 of 24230

Been out, have come back.

Spaceman - 21 Oct 2006 15:26 - 11557 of 24230

been out, come back, now going out again.

Socrates - 22 Oct 2006 10:55 - 11558 of 24230

Busy, busy, busy. Off to a family history fair today, must be ooooooooh.....all of 3 miles away. Must get some tea bags and milk on the way, I see the coffee house is a little short.

Socrates - 23 Oct 2006 16:42 - 11559 of 24230

optomistic - 23 Oct 2006 17:33 - 11560 of 24230

Hello One.

Socrates - 23 Oct 2006 18:51 - 11561 of 24230

Hello to you to Opto. Mixed day on my list today, very middling.

KEAYDIAN - 24 Oct 2006 13:02 - 11562 of 24230

Anyone for a ham sandwich?

Where is the mustard kept?

stockbunny - 24 Oct 2006 13:23 - 11563 of 24230

In the cupboard Keaydian - top right :>)
Afternoon Socs and Opto.
Ham sarnies appear on offer.

KEAYDIAN - 24 Oct 2006 13:39 - 11564 of 24230

Ah, found it.

Appears to be some pickled onions up here as well.

"Warning, extra hot left over x-mass pickled onions, 2003".

Anybody fancy a onion or two with their sarnies?

stockbunny - 24 Oct 2006 13:50 - 11565 of 24230

I'll pass if that's OK, plain ham sarnie please :>)

KEAYDIAN - 24 Oct 2006 14:27 - 11566 of 24230

Butter or Marg?

KEAYDIAN - 24 Oct 2006 14:31 - 11567 of 24230

Wholemeal or white?
