Interlink say they haven't got any bread!

Socrates - 27 Oct 2006 16:53 - 11626 of 24230

Right! Socco is now on holiday and the Corned Beef Hash is perfectly cooked, that light brown crust on top just lip smackingly good. Just tuck and enjoy.

Most red in my list today but a couple of blues just to keep me interested.

Socrates - 28 Oct 2006 08:02 - 11627 of 24230

Good morning all, early riser today. I might be on holiday but my internal alarm clock doesn't seem to have caught up yet.

For any other poor souls who have difficulty sleeping, I have made a nice pot of English Breakfast Tea. Also to satisfy "her-indoors" I've also made a fairly substantial quantity of Italian coffee. Smells delightful!

Spaceman - 28 Oct 2006 08:52 - 11628 of 24230

Morning Socs, hope your enjoying you holiday, I shall be off on mine on Thursday. You going away at all?

Never mind, better to have too much work than too little. I'll make sure you are kept supplied with tea, coffee, biscuits etc. I'd volunteer to help with your work but probably couldn't do it anyway, whatever it is.

Spaceman - 28 Oct 2006 09:44 - 11630 of 24230

Socs, if I can do it anyone else can, trouble is I am easily distracted .

Another pot of tea please ;-)

Socrates - 28 Oct 2006 19:43 - 11631 of 24230

Good evening, sorry I missed you earlier Spacie you must have been gasping for that tea. Too late now I suppose?

Spaceman - 29 Oct 2006 01:41 - 11632 of 24230

What in the name of sherry trifle are doing about at 01:41, no wonder you can't get your work done on time.

Tea and FEB now ready.

Spaceman - 29 Oct 2006 08:24 - 11634 of 24230

Morning Socs, yes late night last night, watching DVDs and chatting with friends ;-)

FEB are yes its sunday I think mrs SP might let me have one today.

Not looking forward to it being dark at 1700, I dont like this time of year ;-(

Socrates - 29 Oct 2006 09:04 - 11635 of 24230

I love this time of year. Hot is not good for me and there is a limit to the amount of clothing one can remove to keep cool, without frightening the horses that is!

At least if one is cool one can put on an extra pully or cuddle a friend. Jumping into the hammock usually works too.

As for FEB. it's an absolute must on a Sunday. Nice and bright here at present but due to get a bit colder soon, so the weatherman says. Might visit the Westonbirt Arboretum this week, should be very colourful about now.

Spaceman - 29 Oct 2006 11:56 - 11636 of 24230

Socs, its the dull grey and dark I dont like, I love bright and sunny and cold ;-)

We normally visit westonbirt in July but it must be fantastic at this time of year.

Socrates - 29 Oct 2006 23:04 - 11637 of 24230

I'll let you know Spacie.

Socrates - 30 Oct 2006 08:18 - 11638 of 24230

You know about these things...

After 5 years my trusty Toshiba laptop has given up the ghost. It had a new hard drive about 2 years ago and the screen packed up a year ago.

I have decided to buy a desktop but want the processor only as I have a screen, mouse and keyboard.

I really only use it for EMail, music, photos etc. but I usually gofor something super duper.

Any recommendations

Socrates - 30 Oct 2006 11:55 - 11643 of 24230

Afternoon Chaps :>)
Well first 'layer' is on the wall, that's it now until tomorrow - I'm nipping off to see what I've missed during the morning - any chance of a danish?
