Spacie
What in the name of sherry trifle are doing about at 01:41, no wonder you can't get your work done on time.

Tea and FEB now ready.

Spaceman - 29 Oct 2006 08:24 - 11634 of 24230

Morning Socs, yes late night last night, watching DVDs and chatting with friends ;-)

FEB are yes its sunday I think mrs SP might let me have one today.

Not looking forward to it being dark at 1700, I dont like this time of year ;-(

Socrates - 29 Oct 2006 09:04 - 11635 of 24230

I love this time of year. Hot is not good for me and there is a limit to the amount of clothing one can remove to keep cool, without frightening the horses that is!

At least if one is cool one can put on an extra pully or cuddle a friend. Jumping into the hammock usually works too.

As for FEB. it's an absolute must on a Sunday. Nice and bright here at present but due to get a bit colder soon, so the weatherman says. Might visit the Westonbirt Arboretum this week, should be very colourful about now.

Spaceman - 29 Oct 2006 11:56 - 11636 of 24230

Socs, its the dull grey and dark I dont like, I love bright and sunny and cold ;-)

We normally visit westonbirt in July but it must be fantastic at this time of year.

Socrates - 29 Oct 2006 23:04 - 11637 of 24230

I'll let you know Spacie.

Socrates - 30 Oct 2006 08:18 - 11638 of 24230

Teas up.

Spaceman - 30 Oct 2006 08:43 - 11639 of 24230

Thanks for the teas Socs,

Any Danish?

Any bread ?

Bright and sunny in Sevenoaks this morning....

Socrates - 30 Oct 2006 08:54 - 11640 of 24230

Plenty of everything Spacie, tuck in and blow the consequencies.

Dull and grey here in Cheltenham, forecast thus all day. Much like the FTSE really, may brighten up a bit.

Morning Socco and spaccie
Glorious day here in Paris

jeffmack - 30 Oct 2006 11:32 - 11642 of 24230

Tim
You know about these things...

After 5 years my trusty Toshiba laptop has given up the ghost. It had a new hard drive about 2 years ago and the screen packed up a year ago.

I have decided to buy a desktop but want the processor only as I have a screen, mouse and keyboard.

I really only use it for EMail, music, photos etc. but I usually gofor something super duper.

Any recommendations

Jeffmack
Our firm use Acer only and have very good reliability, both PCs and laptops.

stockbunny - 30 Oct 2006 13:03 - 11644 of 24230

Afternoon Chaps :>)
Well first 'layer' is on the wall, that's it now until tomorrow - I'm nipping off to see what I've missed during the morning - any chance of a danish?

Spaceman - 30 Oct 2006 13:31 - 11645 of 24230

Jeff, Paris, very nice.

Re PC, hard to recommend a specific make, email and music playing dont need much power however photo stuff might depending on what you are doing. I would probably go for something with an Intel Core Duo processor at the moment, I currently have a Dell 5150c which is very small and quiet but has very limited expansion capabilty (half height slots and only 2).

Bunny, plenty of snails in that bucket you left in the fridge, help yourself and if you good we might let you have some white bread with it as well ;-)

stockbunny - 30 Oct 2006 14:53 - 11646 of 24230

Yuck! Spit!
Where's my wholemeal bread gone?
Where's my salad?
Where's my humous?
Where's my reserve fruit store gone!

I don't know you leave the lads alone for a couple of days and the place is full of beer, fish fingers, trifle and chips! (Not to mention the various cakes and biccies!)
;>)

Socrates - 30 Oct 2006 15:02 - 11647 of 24230

Hello Bunny, fresh salad in the chiller, just for you. I can't find your humous because I used to find it by smell. Since I have a cold I've lost my sense of humous.

stockbunny - 30 Oct 2006 15:05 - 11648 of 24230

OK I've spelt it wrong LOL
You know the stuff, made from chickpeas, eaten on warm pitta and lovely!
Thanks I found the salad now - just keep Spacie away from it, now feta cheese.....

jeffmack - 30 Oct 2006 17:13 - 11649 of 24230

Spacie / Socs
I will take a look

These AZERTY keyboards are fun......not

Socrates - 30 Oct 2006 22:25 - 11650 of 24230

Spelt it wrong? You've lost me.

Spaceman - 30 Oct 2006 22:27 - 11651 of 24230

Socs, dont worry its the French they insist of having different keyboards, azerty instead of qwerty.

Socrates - 31 Oct 2006 08:17 - 11652 of 24230

French! That explains a lot. So, its Tuesday already, will I make my fortune today I wonder. I think I know the answer.

I won a share of the Eurolottery last Friday, a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very small share, well 10.40 to be accurate.

Any bacon in the 'fridge?
