Socrates - 01 Nov 2006 11:45 - 11697 of 24230

OK, that's lunch prepared and in the oven, ready about 12:45. Ooh, smells nice already.

KEAYDIAN - 01 Nov 2006 12:26 - 11698 of 24230

I'll have Opto's potatoes if they're going?

Socrates - 01 Nov 2006 12:44 - 11699 of 24230

Plenty for all on the hotplate, help yourselves. There is more than usual as the massed bands have just phoned to say they cannot come, so the music is off I'm afraid.

KEAYDIAN - 01 Nov 2006 12:54 - 11700 of 24230

Hmmmmmm, Potatooooooooes.

Spaceman - 02 Nov 2006 07:55 - 11703 of 24230

Morning all, nice and sunny in Sevenoaks but ground frost today, first time this winter I think...

mrs S and I are getting ready our our holiday and as usual we (she!) hasnt got anything ready so we are in panic mode, where is the insurance? where is the currency? where did you put the tickets? where is your passport? (i know where mine is ;-) ) what time is the flight? how much luggage do we need? etc etc...

All normal holiday stuff for the spaceman household.

But at least I have the coffee house for relaxation, I think I will start today with a warm danish a cup of tea and a swing in the hammock ....

Socrates - 02 Nov 2006 08:16 - 11704 of 24230

Good morning all.

Going away accompanied this time then Spacie? I would have thought that staying at home would be a holiday for you.

Luggage is a problem for women, we usually have one case each and mine is biggest. That's because it takes all my clothes and a great wadge of her-indoors clothes too. It's never enough because as soon as we get to our destination its a case of "I haven't got enough to wear, I didn't know it was going to be this hot/cold/wet/dry/humid".

daves dazzlers - 02 Nov 2006 08:21 - 11705 of 24230

Dont forget go easy on the bag weight now the weights been droped spaceman 15 KG now,,mind you i bet your will be going club-class,,not rattle and hum like me,have a good one.

Spaceman - 02 Nov 2006 08:21 - 11706 of 24230

Socs ditto, and we often come back with an extra case due to all the 'bargains' she finds.....

daves dazzlers - 02 Nov 2006 08:23 - 11707 of 24230

Morning socs,hows tricks.

stockbunny - 02 Nov 2006 08:30 - 11708 of 24230

Morning Chaps - a danish and a cuppa for me.
How's tricks then today?

Socrates - 02 Nov 2006 08:32 - 11709 of 24230

Good morning DD, tricks are fine thanks. I'm just doing some house keeping, chucking out some of my long term dogs. I've got better stocks to put my cash into.

KEAYDIAN - 02 Nov 2006 08:52 - 11710 of 24230

Morning all, bit fresh out there today.

Any chance of some crumpets drowned in melted butter?

Socrates - 02 Nov 2006 09:25 - 11711 of 24230

Every chance I would think Keaydian.

3 of my dogs just disposed of, I hate booking losses but best to get out from under, I reckon. I just wish I had some capital gains to offset, that would be nice.

Spaceman - 02 Nov 2006 09:40 - 11712 of 24230

Morning bunny, help yourself to Danish, careful with the Apricot one its hot !

Keydian, 3 crumpets with butter please, they will go well with my warm danish.

Socs, I think that divident cheque has got you thinking..... have you spent it all yet?

Socrates - 02 Nov 2006 09:48 - 11713 of 24230

Yes Spacie, but not all in one go!

Spaceman - 02 Nov 2006 09:56 - 11714 of 24230

stockbunny - 02 Nov 2006 09:56 - 11715 of 24230
