CEY is a gold mining company operating in Egypt. It was ordered by the Egyptian Government to stop drilling pending a legal dispute brought against the company by a government minister.
Since then, the whole Government cabinet was replaced a few months ago and the minister now in charge of Mining is believed to be positive on Western investment in the country. CEY are pushing for this minister to allow them to continue drilling ASAP; investers are waiting....patiently.
As soon as the company gets the go-ahead to continue drilling, the share price will move north; CEY has plenty of gold in this mine and it is (apparantly) the case of "raking" it out rather than drilling for it!
Check them out...worthy of a punt.

inter alia i had a very interesting chat with a couple of yemeni nationals yesterday ..... in their opinion, the egyptian people (and indeed other nations in the region) will not allow fundamentalism to take over .... there is a huge difference between true muslim goverment - different from western but not unacceptable by any means - and fundamentalism which is destructive to virtually all
the one thing they all have in common is total antipathy to the status quo in israel/gaza and the american (unacceptable) support of same - i concur! ..... whether or not two nations can be created and live peaceably alongside each other is a thorny question and probably one that will take a few generations to resolve

T - that it is unadulterated, rabble-rousing nonsense hypothesis with no foundation on fact whatsoever; shame on you!
that said, though action will inevitably speak louder than words, i find it equally disturbing that m/e press (or at least that in dubai) consistently links the adjective "moderate" with the muslim brotherhood and its political arm, the freedom and justice party
for all that, the imposition of sharia law, which may well come into operation in egypt sooner rather than later, is not necessarily as restrictive and repressive as the west likes to portray; it all depends on the slant and zeal of the imposers of same and how they choose to interpret islamic law and the koran
