Spaceman - 16 Nov 2006 11:05 - 11852 of 24230

I have been to Iceland (the country) once and it was very wet and cold and looked like Dartmoor however I was only there for a few hours. I didnt notice any big Male Female Imbalance ;-)

Looking out of my office window at the London Eye at the moment and wishing I was somewhere else where it was sunny !

hilary - 16 Nov 2006 11:15 - 11853 of 24230

Yes, but not in Iceland, Jeffie.

Socrates - 16 Nov 2006 17:20 - 11854 of 24230

I'd like to go to Iceland, I just love volcanoes.

stockbunny - 17 Nov 2006 10:37 - 11855 of 24230

Socrates - 17 Nov 2006 16:54 - 11864 of 24230

Hello, it's the weekend again. Don't they come around quickly these days?

Spaceman - 17 Nov 2006 17:41 - 11865 of 24230

Socs, I remember in the old days when we only used to get a weekend every week, you try telling that to the youngsters of today.....

Socrates - 17 Nov 2006 17:55 - 11866 of 24230

Spacie
That sounds like the days when only rich kids had socks and you only went into the living room on Sunday.

Spaceman - 17 Nov 2006 18:04 - 11867 of 24230

Socs what are socks ?

I though they were only allowed in the living room when someone had died ;-) I actually knew some people who were so posh that not only did they have socks they also has a lounge and a dining room and a colour telly and they went on holidays abroad.

Socrates - 18 Nov 2006 11:38 - 11868 of 24230

Spacie
True, some were only allowed in the living room when someone had died, usually it was themselves, in a box!

I'm off to the trolley race soon, must put some juice in the old chara' too, running on fumes at present.

Socrates - 19 Nov 2006 08:41 - 11869 of 24230

How things have changed, you only need a small mortgage to fill up with petrol these days!

Spaceman - 19 Nov 2006 10:07 - 11870 of 24230

Morning Socs,
yes I filled up 3 of our fleet of 4 cars on Wednesday and it cost 160, I shall be pleased when I have got rid of 2 of them!

Lovely day in Hastings bright and sunny and cold.
