Good evening all, her-indoors is out this pm so I'm self catering. Just knocking a nice cottage pie together so will have to wait 40 mins for it to cook. Genuine organic cottage it's made from.

Portfolio looks a bit grim today, just one small bit of blue so all is not lost.

Raining stair-rods here in Cheltenham this evening. Day a bit brightened up by a cheque for my HOF shares. Odd day on the markets though, don't you think?

Hi Opto, I was beginning to wonder if there was anyone about today. Yes odd, I actually made a small profit on the day. Now I have made some "adjustments" to my portfolio, my price movements are less violent and I have some fairly reliable (ish) stocks. Oddly enough, one of my original stocks is one that is a regular riser now. Would you believe its BT?

Yes BT's done OK recently, likewise the other telcos. Perhaps they are now going to have their turn at the top. Not before time!

Dull and grey in Sevenoaks, I think I will drive down to Hastings in a little while for a fish and chip lunch (with white bread!).

Warm mince pies will be on the menu daily from 1st December, Xmas cake and Stollen soon after well if you can't extend Christmas it's a sad world LOL
