August drilling at Mtonya continues to define widespread uranium
mineralisation at Para, Henri, Moysten and Tahbilk Prospects

URA Director James Pratt said, 'The extensive exploration programmes, conducted
by our partners Western Metals, has again yielded exciting results which
underpin the Boards belief that we are operating in a new uranium district which has strong potential to house economic deposits. Exploration is on-going to further quantify the extent of the uranium mineralisation and we look forward to updating shareholders on our progress in the near future.'

Uranium Resources plc ('Uranium Resources' or 'the Company')
AGM Statement

Uranium Resources plc, the AIM listed uranium exploration and development
company, held its AGM today and all resolutions were duly passed.

At the meeting, Director Ross Warner made the following statement:

'During the year we have made considerable progress in advancing our uranium
portfolio in southern Tanzania. Our exploration and development programmes have
progressed well and results to date demonstrate that there is significant
potential for our licence areas to host an economic uranium deposit.

'Our aggressive exploration programme, which recently yielded the discovery of
two new uranium prospects within the highly prospective Ruvuma project area, is
continuing at pace. Importantly recent drill results from previously intersected
uranium mineralisation at our flagship Mtonya Project has increased the
identified subsurface uranium to a strike length of 4km. Together these results
act as further endorsement of the exciting potential of the region, and we look
forward to updating shareholders on our developments in the coming months.

'The aim for this year is to grow the Company through the advancement of our
current project portfolio and identifying further targets to expand our asset
base. We have a committed and active joint venture and development partner in
the form of Western Metals and a healthy current cash position of 1.95 million
which will more than cover Uranium Resources contribution to this year's
exploration budget, which we believe ideally places us to aggressively progress
our portfolio in 2008.'

relishing - 18 Mar 2008 12:09 - 130 of 160

Tumbling..

But probably a good time to pick some up on the cheap if you are prepared to hold long-term.

Yesterday was even better it dipped 20% midday before ending up green.
The problem is a lot of my stocks could do with a top up at the prices they are RVD URA VML and SER.

relishing - 18 Mar 2008 12:28 - 132 of 160

SER probably the one most likely to rise in the short-term (imo).

driver - 18 Mar 2008 12:30 - 133 of 160

relishing
Yes you may be right the rest have a lot to do this year SER are properly in front.

halifax - 01 May 2008 12:36 - 134 of 160

As an alternative energy source for the future URA looks pretty cheap. Geiger Counter has a significant shareholding and their Australian partner is sharing the exploration and development costs. One to tuck away in anticipation of a major eventually taking an interest.

driver - 01 May 2008 12:43 - 135 of 160

halifax
It is cheap but I sold into IVE I dont think this will do much for a while I will keep my eye on it VML is even cheaper.

halifax - 01 May 2008 12:48 - 136 of 160

Driver have you read today's RNS? URA and their Australian partner have an extensive work programme for 2008/9 which could produce some interesting results and confirm Tanzania as a major source of uranium.

driver - 01 May 2008 12:55 - 137 of 160

halifax
No I missed that cheers looks quite on the sp front I think punters have got bored with the same stuff.

halifax - 01 May 2008 13:02 - 138 of 160

Driver suggest you read the RNS then you will learn of the new developments.
