Hope it doesnt get as bad as this but it looks like 6400 support on long term FTSE100 chart which corresponds with horizontal support at August 2013.

Forget Twitter! Pricing set in the float of the year, shares in Merlin, owner of Sea Life, Legoland and pricey car parks, will be 315p

david lucas - 08 Nov 2013 13:19 - 1200 of 2763

Have you booked some GF!
I have applied for £5000 so wait and see. The discount will be useful (unfortunately!!)

cynic - 08 Nov 2013 13:25 - 1201 of 2763

i think legoland is a total ripoff, but that said, the products still have a huge following and are certainly very clever ..... are the new starwars ones on sale yet? ..... i've seen some "elsewhere" but they may have been pre-release

goldfinger - 08 Nov 2013 13:50 - 1202 of 2763

Sorry havent had chance to take a look yet.

Just saw it on twitter and passed it down here.

halifax - 08 Nov 2013 15:41 - 1203 of 2763

cynic - 08 Nov 2013 15:48 - 1204 of 2763

grandchildren aren't yet old enough for it!

goldfinger - 08 Nov 2013 17:11 - 1205 of 2763

No but you are Cyners ........LOL, I have heard Mechano was your thing though.

cynic - 08 Nov 2013 17:28 - 1206 of 2763

absolutely so!
i wasn't very good at that sort of stuff, but an uncle had a wooden box full of the stuff that he gave to me (and my sister) ..... btw, monopoly houses and hotels were then solid plastic

Shortie - 11 Nov 2013 13:10 - 1207 of 2763

cynic - 11 Nov 2013 20:15 - 1209 of 2763

amazing .... i wonder when it will have a bad day or two to allow (perhaps) entry for a dimbo

skinny - 12 Nov 2013 07:19 - 1210 of 2763

cynic - the other 3D printing company that I mentioned last week in post 1174, is also doing very well atm - unlike DDD, I don't as yet hold.

goldfinger - 13 Nov 2013 09:47 - 1212 of 2763

FENR another one outperforming BUT will it last....that is the question. Personally think we could be looking at 6500 on the ftse 100 maybe 6400 before we get the xmas new year rally, so for now its tempting just tempting and i will watch from the sidelines.

jim mellon ‏@jimmhk 12 Nov
quiet day.. but watch market exhaustion as i keep on saying...PEs are v extended and markets look ripe for fall ..when it happens brutal

david lucas - 14 Nov 2013 10:00 - 1214 of 2763

Hi GF
Trouble is when to increase the cash position and how! No good sitting with big chunks of cash and watch the market push up. But I agree and watching very 'thoughtfully"!!

goldfinger - 14 Nov 2013 10:26 - 1215 of 2763

Its very frustrating David, Im about 95% cash at the moment.

Problem is with the charts being at all time highs their is no forward technical guidance and the market then falls back on to P/E ratios which are looking very toppy.

Im hoping for a sharp pull back and then going into December say with the FTSE 100 at 6400 looking to get the usual xmas rally.

But who knows, you think one thing about the market and it does exactly the opposite LOL.
